One good change I've seen this time is rival fans agreeing with us. I guess since we've already won the league, it's pointless to pretend PGMOL doesn't have it out for us, and they realise PGMOL will fuck them over eventually if they don't speak out on it. I've been pleased to see several rival accounts speaking up against the refereeing at both the Sunderland game and the Manchester Derby.

He's right and I've made my peace with it. Arteta isn't looking for an elite goalscorer CF, that's why you see him going after Alvarez. For his CF, he prefers players elite at interplay and more "jack of all trades" like Havertz. It's very hard being an Arteta striker. To me, it's the hardest position in his system. You have to be great at facilitating and interplay while also being great aerially. But not only that, you gotta a great presser, able to rotate aggressively to even be a winger at times, run a lot as an outlet into space and still finish chances superbly. I don't know a single striner on Earth rn that does all this at an elite level. Mbappe doesn't press, Kane isn't a runner into space, Haaland isn't one to drop deep and interplay. Even trying to do all this has its wear and tear on the body, which is why many of our strikers get injured. It's why I'm more sympathetic to Havertz than many others. It's also why it's a mini-miracle Gyökeres scored 21 goals last season. In terms of raw talent/materials available to develop those interplays while also maintaining high finishing, Kroupi is the gold standard we need to chase. But he's not aerially trustworthy (still better than Alvarez aerially). You'll never get a striker that ticks all the boxes for the ideal striker in Arteta's system, so it's all about picking what you prioritise.
