Before the sun sets, Jesus of Nazareth will be dead. Season 6 captures the historic events of Jesus' final day through the eyes of those who love Him—and those who condemn Him. The Sanhedrin calls it justice. Romans call it peace. Followers call it murder. But in the face of loneliness and death, Jesus stands resolute in His plan that has always led to one place: the cross. Experience Jesus’ final hours that changed the world forever. Season 6 begins streaming November 15 on Prime Video, and The Chosen Crucifixion releases only in theaters globally in Spring 2027.

In the gospels, only a few verses cover the healing of Simon Peter’s mother-in-law. When we first mapped out Season 1 of The Chosen, this was one of the first moments we chose to feature, and we worked to build to it in a plausible and impactful way.
