Bill Bedenbaugh – OL, Oklahoma Defend the rip. Strike or clamp with the inside hand. Then find the hip or rib cage. Squeeze and flatten the rusher inside. Never give him a clean lane. Stay in front. Don’t over-open the gate. Inside foot can gain lateral ground. Keep your body between the rusher and the quarterback.
