"Dillon Gabriel started getting first-team reps immediately after he was drafted. They said this guy's ready for that...This is supposed to be Kevin's guy, and he can't even run the freaking offense for Kevin." Almost every sideline reporter over the summer said Dillon Gabriel did not look good at practice, but the Browns continued to gaslight us with their rhetoric of Gabriel's processing ability, timing, accuracy and overall understanding of the offense. It's clear now that the beat reporters were telling the truth. "In four games, you should have seen at least a throw or a play where you said, 'Now, that's a play a franchise quarterback or a good starter can make.' Hasn't been a single one yet." "It's another failure at the quarterback position for the Browns."

The Browns QB competition is a 3-man battle...and it does not include Shedeur Sanders. "We need to understand that Shedeur Sanders is not a priority for the Browns right now in training camp. There aren't enough players, there isn't enough time to run a four-quarterback rotation. He's throwing to equipment managers...it's just not going to happen."

"'Shedeur's biggest problem in college was running backward and taking sacks.' We've heard this repeated so many times in the media so now any time he gets sacked once, everyone thinks it was 5 sacks for -50 yards." Since Shedeur Sanders became the Browns starting quarterback, taking sacks has not been a problem. He still has one of the lowest pressure-to-sack ratios in the NFL (14.6). The bigger concern is the turnovers. Sanders has 8 interceptions in 5.5 games. True, some of those are not his fault (thanks, Jerry Jeudy). But limiting turnovers should still be Sanders' area of focus, which it undoubtedly is. It's also not uncommon for a rookie QB to have a high turnover rate and low touchdown numbers: - Trevor Lawrence had 8 INT in his first 5 career games - Josh Allen had just 10 TD to 12 INT his rookie season - Drake Maye threw at least 1 pick in 8/13 games last year (finished with 15 TD and 10 INT) - Bryce Young finished with 11 TD and 10 INT as a rookie And these guys were all first-round picks or even No. 1 overall picks.

"Just get Jerry Jeudy out of here. It's not just his poor play. His attitude sucks too. He's on the sideline barking at Shedeur--he's a rookie in his second start, why don't you try to pick him up? I'm done with Jeudy." Jeudy has become a cancer to the team, it's clear to anyone watching the games. Just another stellar personnel move by Andrew Berry who continuously looks for bargain players and ignores their personality issues.

"Start Shedeur Sanders. Don't let Deshaun Watson see the field. Period. Full stop. Don't care." We asked Derek Brown for his opinion on the Browns best path forward at QB this season. "They're in t-shirts and shorts. He ain't leading nothing. They haven't had real practices yet. And now that we have OTAs opening up, oh, they're splitting reps. But I was told Deshaun Watson was definitively ahead and he was QB1! So let's cut the crap."

"This is who Kevin wanted. This is Kevin's guy. He was handpicked by this regime as the number two quarterback on their draft board." Have you seen enough from Dillon Gabriel in this pathetic Browns offense to know it's never going to work? "I'm just very confused with the philosophy. He was drafted in the third round, we used a valuable pick. A pick that, right now, I would love to see a wide receiver or offensive lineman."

"I watched so much tape on these quarterbacks, and I'm just a stupid podcaster! And I saw things on Jaxson Dart's film that made me tell you guys he was going in the first round." That's right, Josh is still hung up on the Browns evaluation of Jaxson Dart after all the time the team spent with the former Ole Miss Rebel. "The Browns went on dates with every single one of these quarterbacks, and Dillon Gabriel is the one they came away saying, 'That's who we want to be in a relationship with.' And then I go out and watch Jaxson Dart making pro-level NFL throws three game into his career."

"Do we forget that we saw Shedeur make throws we hadn't seen quarterbacks make in two years? For once in my life, I was excited about what I was seeing. And now we're just going back to the same garbage? I know it's a new system, a new coach, but I'm just not interested at all in Deshaun Watson." Justin expressed his dissatisfaction with the idea of the Browns starting Watson over Sanders. As a reminder, Watson has only appeared in 28% of the games since the Browns traded 3 first-round picks and paid him $230M guaranteed. He's just 8-10 in FOUR seasons (69 games) with Cleveland.

"If you think Baker Mayfield balling out in Tampa Bay is bad, oh you just wait until Shedeur Sanders goes somewhere else and balls out. You'll never hear the end of it." Josh expresses his disappointment in the Browns lack of urgency to see if Shedeur Sanders can be the answer at quarterback. With Dillon Gabriel starting against the Jets, that leaves just 8 games remaining this season for the Browns to potentially evaluate the rookie from Colorado.

Wow. Shout out to Quincy Carrier for his #Browns film breakdown from the Commanders game. I recommend everyone go watch Quincy's video. If you think the entire offense sucks or Stefanski/Dorsey is the problem after watching this video, then you're just lying to yourself. The Browns cannot continue to start Deshaun Watson at quarterback. Period. FULL VIDEO: My biggest takeaway was that the Browns might just have a very good WR in Jerry Jeudy, who probably could've had a 100+ yard, multi-score game. Here's one clip from Quincy's video. 🚨 Spoiler alert: they're all like this.
