With a deep sense of gratitude to Almighty, all I’ve come to do is to appreciate His kindness towards me and mine. The past few weeks have been filled with lots of heartwarming events. The overwhelming celebration of our kings by the entire nation; I’ve been enveloped by love and warmth. How can I not be grateful? At the AMVCA last night, LISABI won 2 awards, best makeup and walking off the stage with the award for the best indigenous movie from West Africa elevated the whole story. We did it before, we did it again. Lisabi - The Uprising won this same categories last year, now the sequel, Lisabi - A Legend Is Born retained the crown for us. All our labor, hard work and sacrifices paid off. We won again! Thank you to the AMVCA Africamagictv thank you for the appreciation of our work. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the project, thank you to the fans who voted . Thank you to the visionary director Niyi Akinmolayan 🇳🇬🇨🇦 and all the cast/crew. A lot was going on with me yesterday, the plan was to get home and sleep but my wife kept calling to ask me to a Lisabi watch party, I didn’t have the energy however, I obliged her. Only for me to walk into a room of sensational surprise… My wife thought it wise to celebrate me for the Lisabi milestone, there’s absolutely nothing more thoughtful than this! Dear wifey Adebimpe Oyebade-Adedimeji, the best decision I ever made in my life was the one that made you my Mrs, I can’t thank you enough, and when I count my blessings, I count you five times.
