First and foremost, lemme quickly explain that I didn’t intentionally go to see His Imperial Majesty, the Oonirisa Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi without wifey, She’s busy with the triplets. E mabinu. Right, it was great spending time with Kabiesi yesterday at the palace. Drinking water from his well of wisdom is part of what makes a man in life; I don’t take this moments for granted. From the warm welcome from the palace family, to the welcoming aura of Kabiesi himself, I still feel goosebumps from yesterday. It’s all gratitude from me because that little boy of yesterday, is now dining with actual kings. There’s something about this palace that screams class! The pristine nature, the luxurious air, the spiritual feel, the taste of home… What an experience. It’s not my first time but it feels like one. Thank you Kabiesi for the opportunity to spend time with you again. Cc @official_vicolasgroup

With a deep sense of gratitude to Almighty, all I’ve come to do is to appreciate His kindness towards me and mine. The past few weeks have been filled with lots of heartwarming events. The overwhelming celebration of our kings by the entire nation; I’ve been enveloped by love and warmth. How can I not be grateful? At the AMVCA last night, LISABI won 2 awards, best makeup and walking off the stage with the award for the best indigenous movie from West Africa elevated the whole story. We did it before, we did it again. Lisabi - The Uprising won this same categories last year, now the sequel, Lisabi - A Legend Is Born retained the crown for us. All our labor, hard work and sacrifices paid off. We won again! Thank you to the AMVCA Africamagictv thank you for the appreciation of our work. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the project, thank you to the fans who voted . Thank you to the visionary director @niyiakinmolayan and all the cast/crew. A big congratulations to the most talented onilogbo hakeem 🏆 To my special woman Adebimpe Oyebade-Adedimeji , who held my hand as we made this happen; my wife, the mother of my three kings, my partner, my co Executive Producer… We did it again baby!🥰 Thank you Africa!

A lot was going on with me yesterday, the plan was to get home and sleep but my wife kept calling to ask me to a Lisabi watch party, I didn’t have the energy however, I obliged her. Only for me to walk into a room of sensational surprise… My wife thought it wise to celebrate me for the Lisabi milestone, there’s absolutely nothing more thoughtful than this! Dear wifey Adebimpe Oyebade-Adedimeji, the best decision I ever made in my life was the one that made you my Mrs, I can’t thank you enough, and when I count my blessings, I count you five times. I love you 💕 💕💕 Thanks to everyone who came to surprise me, y’all got me, I’m short of words but please know that I’m grateful. Lisabi is streaming only on Netflix, watch and be glad.

As an actor, one of the many things that amaze me from feedback is how people see me as being versatile; however, this part of me that seems to be the version many met first can’t go away. My wonderful people at the palace of my father Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi challenged me to prove to them that the tears I invoke in movies are not tricks or makeup… Of course, it was a friendly banter, one I thoroughly enjoyed. Glad I didn’t disappoint them. Well, it is what it is… An actor must be able to turn every ground to his stage; it’s a part of the craft that became Adedimeji Lateef, may we all be known for tears of joy only. I think I’ve done this in tons of movies, which one comes to your mind? I’ll be reading in the comment section.

Quick one, who remembers my first ever movie I produced personally? I know many of you would say Wale Danger, you’d be wrong. My first ever movie was O se regi, it was a movie I produced in the year 2007/2008 it was a project I put everything into but God had other plans.
