HAPPENING NOW: a woman has been found shot at Fourth Street and M Street SE in Navy Yard/Washington DC, right across from the Harris Teeter 🔫 The adult female has been taken to a trauma center, last reported still conscious. The focus on the crime scene is at a bus stop on the corner of M Street & Fourth Street SE. Federal officers in the area reportedly heard the gunshots. DC Police, National Guard, and federal agents remain in the area. All of M Street and Fourth Street SE has been roped off as police investigate. There is currently no lookout for the shooter. #DCCrime

CAPITOL HILL PROBABLE FATAL CRASH BETWEEN SCOOTERS: One person is in traumatic cardiac arrest, while a second has been seriously injured after a crash between two scooters on Pennsylvania Ave at Eight Street SE on Capitol Hill/Washington DC. CPR is currently in progress on an adult male, who was reportedly on some sort of moped or scooter. A second person has been put on a C-collar and loaded into the back of an ambulance. ⛔️ All of Pennsylvania Ave SE has been shut down in both directions as DC Police conduct a crash investigation. ⛔️

HAPPENING NOW: multiple law enforcement agencies across Prince George’s County, Maryland are ROLLING OUT warrant services going into the midnight hour 🚨 The officers, who have been assigned to several different ‘teams’ numbered 1-10, have made at least twelve arrests across the county since 11pm. Agencies involved include Prince George’s County Police, the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office, Seat Pleasant Police, Greenbelt Police, Bowie Police, and other agencies. It is unknown exactly what type of warrants are being served at this time, or if any specific charges are being targeted…

77 ARRESTS MADE, 86 WARRANTS CLOSED OVERNIGHT IN PG COUNTY: The Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 77 people, while closing 86 warrants during an overnight operation targeting felony and misdemeanor warrants across the county 🚔 The operation began at around 11pm last night and ended at 6am this morning as part of the 23rd annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail. Deputies and officers from law enforcement agencies across the region attempted to locate wanted individuals at 200 locations and served 17 ex-parte protective orders, which are court orders that can provide protection before a full hearing. The warrants involved a range of offenses, including first- and second-degree assault, stalking, sexual abuse, arson, reckless endangerment, robbery, *rape* and violations of protective orders. Other warrants closed during the operation involved theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, malicious destruction of property, *possession of child pornography* and child support matters. Officers from various agencies were split up into ten separate teams, going address-to-address serving countless arrest warrants throughout the night. The holding cells officers were using at the Greenbelt police station became so full, that arrestees were taken straight to the Upper Marlboro jail. Participating agencies included the Prince George’s County Police Department, Maryland State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, US Marshals Service, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland-National Capital Park Police, along with police departments from twelve municipalities in Prince George’s County. The Prince George’s County Department of Corrections, Office of Homeland Security and District Court Commissioner’s Office also participated. 🚨

A viral video of federal agents arresting someone at a DC metro station sparked outrage online— just for it to turn out the suspect had just robbed and assaulted a woman on the train after fare evading just moments beforehand 🚨 Metro Transit Police have just announced the arrest of 39 year-old Donald Thomas Bell of Southeast DC. Bell is charged with Robbery Force & Violence after DC court records show he reportedly hit a woman with a closed fist on board of a Metro train, snatched her phone, attempted to push her off the train, and then fought the cops. HSI agents (who are part of the ‘Make DC Safe and Beautiful’ Task Force) in the area arrived to assist Metro Transit Police, who were already on scene at the Stadium-Armory metro. After a struggle, Bell was taken into custody. Bell also has a prior case in which he was arrested after he allegedly fare evaded at the Waterfront metro station while having a warrant for Simple Assault and violating the Bail Reform Act... #DCCrime

THIRD ROBBERY IN PAST HOUR COMMITTED BY TEENS, WOMAN ROBBED OF PURSE AT GUNPOINT IN NAVY YARD: Police are investigating after a woman was reportedly robbed of her purse at gunpoint outside of the CVS Pharmacy on I Street SE in Navy Yard/Washington DC. The suspects also attempted to steal the victim’s e-bike but were unsuccessful. A lookout has been put out for four males in masks, who were last seen on foot. Newly obtained footage shows the moment an armed murder suspect was shot and killed by DC Police on a Metro bus. The shooting occurred on the 4000 block of Wisconsin Ave NW at around 7:30am yesterday. A handgun with an extended magazine was recovered from the gunman. #DCCrime

GROUP OF TEN TO TWENTY KIDS GO ON ROBBERY SPREE IN SHAW/WASHINGTON DC: Police are investigating after a group of approximately 10-20 juveniles committed at least two robberies in the Shaw neighborhood, according to initial information. Several of the juvenile suspects have been apprehended after leading police on a foot chase near Eight Street and Q Street NW. Several of the apprehensions were made in the area of the Dacha Beer Garden— putting on a show for bar-goers. DC Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired during rush-hour near First Street and Pierce Street NE in NoMa/Washington DC 🔫 Police were called out to the area of the Starbucks on the 1200 block of First Street NE at around 5:20pm for a shooting. It is believed that shots were fired in the area, but no injuries were reported. DC Police put a lookout out for four males who fled on Lime bikes and were reportedly fleeing from National Guard while “tossing weapons.” MPD’s Falcon 🚁 was just up circling the area for the shooters, who are believed to be on the loose. Detectives have just arrived to the scene as well. This is an active and developing scene, with more information expected to be released from officials soon… #DCCrime

Just witnessed a kid on a Lime scooter get struck by a hit-and-run driver (illegally turning across two lanes) on Eleventh Street SE at I-295. A DC police officer was in front of the crash when it happened, but the kid got up and dusted it off. Stay aware of bad drivers in the DMV!

ANOTHER NIGHT, ANOTHER DC ROBBERY BY JUVENILES WHO FLED ON LIME BIKES/SCOOTERS 🚨 DC Police are investigating after a group of juveniles robbed and beat up a person on 7th Street at Pennsylvania Ave NW in Penn Quarter/Washington DC. The victim was beat up so bad over a robbery of clothing, an ambulance had to be called out. MPD put a lookout out for six black male juveniles, wearing all black and gray clothing and fleeing on both Lime bikes and scooters. Police remain on scene investigating another robbery by juveniles in an area where the National Guard frequently patrols. #DCCrime

Several fights broke out in front of police at the Ballston Quarter mall on Wilson Boulevard after 100+ juveniles gathered in Arlington, Virginia 🚨 Arlington County Police were called out to the Ballston Quarter on the 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 9:10pm after a report from security of over one hundred kids starting to gather inside of the food court. Once police arrived on scene, several fights broke out in the area— directly in front of police officers. At least three juveniles were detained on scene, and police were eventually able to disperse the crowd. An ambulance had to respond out for at least one person who was injured as well. Metro Transit Police responded to assist, as the juveniles began flooding into the Ballston metro station. There, police are maintaining a presence to ensure all of the kids have left… #NoVa

WATCH: Police dashcam footage shows a Montgomery County Police sergeant’s cruiser being destroyed during a street takeover on East-West Highway at Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase, Maryland 🚨 In total, two cruisers were damaged during the attack, with one having the entire rear windshield busted out. Amazingly, no officers were injured. No arrests have been made for the incident as of now. Maryland State Police assisted in clearing out the takeover, at which point it is believed the group continued into Fairfax County, Virginia to do another street takeover on Georgetown Pike at Dolley Madison Boulevard. ROUGHLY FIFTY ARRESTS MADE AS WARRANT SERVICES CONTINUE IN PG COUNTY: The sally-port police had been using in Prince George’s County has become so full, that those arrestees are being taken straight to the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro. 🚨Around FIFTY arrests have been so far, with officers continuing to serve warrants past the 3am hour 🚨 Never seen anything like this in terms of arrest volume and intensity/precision, going address to address for four hours straight.
