Newly obtained footage shows the moment an armed murder suspect was shot and killed by DC Police on a Metro bus. The shooting occurred on the 4000 block of Wisconsin Ave NW at around 7:30am yesterday. A handgun with an extended magazine was recovered from the gunman. #DCCrime

WATCH: a 19 year-old male has been arrested and charged with shooting two people at a Kensington, Maryland Safeway garage during an illegal car rally earlier this month 🔫 On April 4th at around 2:30am, Montgomery County Police responded to the Safeway parking garage on Armory Ave in Kensington for a shooting. Moments later, two victims arrived at nearby hospitals having been shot. It was later determined they had come from the location of the illegal car rally. Hermes Matewere is charged with two counts of first-and-second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and multiple firearms violations. (to including possession of a firearm by a minor) He is being held without bond.

WATCH: Police dashcam footage shows a Montgomery County Police sergeant’s cruiser being destroyed during a street takeover on East-West Highway at Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase, Maryland 🚨 In total, two cruisers were damaged during the attack, with one having the entire rear windshield busted out. Amazingly, no officers were injured. No arrests have been made for the incident as of now. Maryland State Police assisted in clearing out the takeover, at which point it is believed the group continued into Fairfax County, Virginia to do another street takeover on Georgetown Pike at Dolley Madison Boulevard. Police in Washington DC are searching for the driver of a dirt bike, who ran over two children on bicycles on the 2400 block of 14th Street NW this weekend. One of the children, a 10 year-old boy, was knocked unconscious after being run over. He remains in serious condition.

BIZARRE FOOTAGE OUT OF MOCO: Two teenagers, 19-year-old Marcus Isaiah Jovon Braithwaite of Germantown and 16-year-old Demba Tandia of Montgomery Village, are charged with Attempted Murder after last month’s shooting inside of the Germantown Giant in Montgomery County, Maryland. This is the aftermath of a 15 year-old boy slamming into a house in Wheaton, Maryland after ramming an unmarked Montgomery County Police cruiser down the street. Now, a family with several children is left with a hole in the front of their house. It is unknown if the juvenile driver will even be charged as an adult or prosecuted… neighbors I spoke to are fed up with it. Luckily, somehow, no one was hurt or killed in this instance. Police officers having donuts done around them and being mocked. No regard for the law or anyone’s safety. Yet silence from Montgomery County Police— another utter failure by Montgomery County Department of Police’ media team. We had no idea that this happened on Saturday night until several followers recently sent it in on Instagram. If it wasn’t for that, this would have been left completely in the dark. NEW: the suspect in the Beltway stabbing has been ID’d as 32 year-old Jared Llamado, who resided in McLean, Virginia. He was later shot and killed by Virginia State Police Troopers on I-495 while still armed with the murder weapon. The woman who was stabbed and killed has been identified as 39 year-old Michelle Adams. Three other victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. An angle posted online shows a female bystander stepping in to try to stop Llamado from killing Ms. Adams. It is believed that she was stabbed during the brazen attack as well. Virginia State Police continue to investigate the incident.

ANOTHER NPS REOPENING IN WASHINGTON DC: After months of being closed and under construction, the statue at the Philip Sheridan Memorial in Washington DC has officially reopened this afternoon 🏇 As part of President Trump’s ‘Make DC Safe and Beautiful’ Task Force, the National Park Service repainted the statue black (previously green) and has ensured that the water fountains are flowing once again. Previously, the fountains on both sides had been inoperable. The equestrian statue of General Philip Sheridan sits at Sheridan Circle on Massachusetts Ave NW. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held by the National Park Service at 2:30pm today for the grand reopening.

Four People Stabbed, Woman and Dog Killed, After Mass Stabbing on Capital Beltway in Northern Virginia; Armed Suspect Later Shot Dead by Virginia State Police 🚨 “A Virginia State Police trooper was called to the scene at approximately 1:17 p.m. for a reported road rage incident. When the trooper arrived on scene, he was confronted by a male suspect carrying a knife. The trooper then shot the suspect in self-defense. The suspect was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and later succumbed to those injuries. The trooper was not injured. Four stabbing victims were located at scene. One, a 39-year-old female, has since succumbed to her injuries. A dog was also stabbed and is deceased. Restoration work is underway at the Meridian Hill Park fountains in Washington DC as sediment at the bottom has caused the water to turn brown. Work is expected to last no more than a week. If all goes to plan, the water should return to its bright blue color by next Wednesday.
