Instant detection. 📡 The advanced Active Electronically Scanned Array radar, AESA, on the F-35 Lightning II detects, locates and identifies threats using a single array of electronically controlled transmitters and receivers. With no moving parts, this robust solid-state system operates with extreme speed and reliability to ensure our pilots maintain a complete, real-time picture of the battlespace.
