NEW: “Chud the Builder” charged after shooting outside Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville Yesterday, a fight escalated into a shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. The two individuals involved were identified as 28-year-old Dalton Eatherly aka “Chud the Builder,” and another man. Both sustained gunshot wounds and were hospitalized in stable condition. Eatherly was arrested and charged with criminal attempt murder (15-60 years), employing a firearm during a dangerous felony (minimum 6 years), aggravated assault (3 to 15 years), and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon (1 to 6 years). Eartherly was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

NEW: The man Chud The Builder shot yesterday has been identified as Joshua Fox, who was charged with aggravated domestic assault after allegedly threatening his wife with a screwdriver and trying to burn the house down in 2024. On April 18, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee, officers responded to a domestic incident at a Tower Drive apartment. Joshua Fox told officers his wife would not let him leave. His wife told officers Joshua was upset over vehicle issues preventing him from leaving. She claimed Joshua had an aerosol can and a lighter and attempted to burn the house down. When she tried to take the can away, they both fell to the ground. She said Joshua then grabbed a screwdriver and held it to her side, causing her to back away. Officers located the aerosol can and screwdriver as described. They deemed Joshua the primary aggressor and arrested him for aggravated domestic assault.

NEW: San Diego woman tanks two shots to the chest and still advances on officers with a ballpoint pen until tased San Diego Police Department released bodycam footage of the April 15, 2026, officer-involved shooting in the East Village near 16th Street and Island Avenue. 32-year-old Denise Guzman was allegedly stabbing a man multiple times with a ballpoint pen when officers arrived on the call. Guzman refused repeated commands to drop the pen and advanced toward officers. Officer Grijalva fired multiple rounds, striking her at least twice in the chest. She was finally subdued after multiple taser hits. Guzman survived and was hospitalized. The victim she stabbed was also treated for his injuries.

NEW: 75-year-old dies after physical fight with 20-year-old shift leader at Fort Wayne Tim Hortons On May 13, 2026, Anita Ann Grayson entered the Tim Hortons lobby on Ice Way/Lima Road in Fort Wayne to complain about her drive-thru order. She began berating a 17-year-old female employee. When 20-year-old shift leader August Horner intervened, Grayson struck her, sparking a physical fight in which both women fell to the ground. After the altercation was broken up, Grayson sat at a table, then lay on the floor and became unresponsive. The family and community are calling for justice for Grayson and for Tim Hortons to close its doors.

NY Esthetician arrested for DUI after refusing field sobriety tests during traffic stop in her Land Rover Palm Beach County deputies pulled over Katelyn D’Amelio for erratic driving and an illegal license plate on her Land Rover while with her boys, Nikki and Frankie. The deputy reported a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. The decision to take any more than one sobriety test weighed heavily on her chest as she chose not to continue. She was quickly taken into custody on DUI charges.

NEW: Two 18-year-old Ocala teens arrested after riding lawnmower through Target store while filming social media stunt On Saturday, at the Target store in Ocala, Florida, 18-year-old Janek Szkaradek drove a riding lawnmower inside the store, damaging a door, while 18-year-old Luke Charske recorded the stunt for social media. Both teens were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Charske was charged as a principal to the disorderly conduct. Szkaradek faces additional charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for a separate incident the night before, where he entered a nearby Culver’s restaurant and used a leaf blower inside the business. “These actions endangered people and caused property damage,” Ocala PD stated, “They are crimes, not harmless videos.”

The deputy accused her of manipulating a phone with her right hand. Thomas raised her right arm, revealing she was born missing her hand below the elbow. Instead of dropping the issue, the deputy doubled down and asked her to swear “Hand to God” she wasn’t using a phone, then issued her a $116 ticket anyway. Thomas fought the citation in court. Just before trial, the deputy requested the case be dismissed due to “insufficient evidence.” The charge was officially dropped.

NEW: Weed California police release bodycam of fatal shooting after suspect draws gun during traffic stop and meth discovery On March 21, 2026, Weed Police officers stopped a vehicle on northbound Interstate 5 near Exit 748 for excessive window tint and an unsafe lane change. During the search, officers discovered a large amount of suspected methamphetamine hidden inside a speaker. The suspect, 35-year-old Carlos Aguilar Junior of Palmdale, was waiting in the passenger seat of an officer’s cruiser when he drew a firearm and pointed it at officers. Officers returned fire, striking Aguilar. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

NEW: Louisville officer referred for termination after fatally shooting unarmed man during mental health crisis and delaying medical aid On May 30, 2026, LMPD Officer Nathan Stotts fatally shot 27-year-old Martin Nitzken Jr., who was in the middle of a severe bipolar episode. Before police arrived, Nitzken tore shutters off a home and assaulted 3 people, including dislocating his neighbor's shoulder. When Nitzken stood up from the street and walked toward him, Stotts gave commands and backed away before firing a single fatal shot. After Nitzken fell, it took 3 minutes and 45 seconds before any medical aid was rendered. On June 2, LMPD Chief Paul Humphrey announced he is moving to terminate Stotts, stating the officer “made the wrong call” and violated department training.

NEW: Texas officer investigating a fire on private property shoots a dog after being attacked Last Friday, Arp Police Officer Pereida responded to a large fire behind a residence. While approaching the fence line to check if the home was in danger, two dogs crawled under the fence and attempted to attack him. The officer fired two shots from his service pistol, striking one dog. The injured dog fled, and the second dog continued to approach. Bodycam footage was activated after the shots and shows part of the encounter. The dog’s owner later told the chief that “everyone around here knows my dogs will bite” and that the officer should have taken a bite instead of shooting. Chief Joe Keegan reviewed the footage and ruled the officer’s actions legal and appropriate. The dog ultimately required euthanasia.

NEW: Rapper Afroman is scheduled to stand trial in a civil lawsuit filed by seven Adams County (Ohio) Sheriff’s deputies.  The legal battle stems from a 2022 raid on Afroman's home, where officers were investigating alleged drug trafficking and kidnapping claims that resulted in no charges. Afroman used his own security footage from the raid to create music videos which mock the officers and the "botched" operation.  The officers allege that Afroman used their personas for commercial profit without authorization, causing them "humiliation, ridicule, mental distress, and loss of reputation". They are seeking damages of $25,000 per count.

NEW: Inmate assaults female counselor and corrections officers at Lakeview Shock prison On February 23, 2026, at Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility in Brocton, New York, 34-year-old inmate J’Kendric Agee launched an unprovoked attack on a female civilian counselor during a classroom program, then turned on corrections officers who rushed in to help. The New York State Department of Corrections released security footage of the assault. Agee was indicted on two counts of second-degree assault. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held on $250,000 cash bail. He was also transferred to Attica Correctional Facility ahead of his next court date. He was serving a 7-to-8-year sentence for third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance out of Niagara County.
