Saturday night at Glastonbury 24. Can't lie, I was at a bit of a loose end. Nothing really grabbed me, so I put on a wristband of shame and headed to Coldplay. It was alright, I suppose. Felt more like a spectacle than a gig, all a bit polished. Didn't hate it, didn't love it.

Nish Kumar and James Acaster in the Cabaret Tent, Glastonbury 2025. Just 2 guys doing what they need to do to guarantee their tickets each year. You've got to respect it.

It's now 10 days since the festival. You've had time to process it all. So what was the best thing you saw at Glastonbury 24? For me, it was BIG SPECIAL at Glastonbury Left Field. Seeing an act at this point in their career, on the up, album out, loving it, crowd into it... joyous.

RIP Raul Malo of The Mavericks. In 2017 I chose their set in Avalon over Radiohead on the Pyramid, no regrets. They kicked off with their biggest hit and the entire set was joyous.

Gorrillaz at Glastonbury 2010. It's a much maligned set, not sure why, it just didn't connect with a lot of people. Maybe too many guests, maybe the expectations after Blur in 2009, who knows? But it was my first Pyramid headliner & I had a great time. This was special 👇👇👇

Phenomenal stuff from Red Rum Club at Liverpool Arena tonight. Baffling why the rest of the country aren't showing the same appreciation for these lads. Come on Glastonbury Festival, find them a spot!

That moment when the crowd cheers, the performer gets emotional, the crowd cheers louder... That is what Glastonbury is all about.

I'm about to set off, expect minimal posts from now (well, compared to normal) until after the festival. Thanks for the follows, retweets, likes and abuse. See you on the farm, or on the other side. We made it!
