Wow. I just got off the phone from THREE sources that Club Lambda BK’s final night was shut down early by NYPD and FD because a group of gays from Pittsburgh l, CT, and Queens called them because they got tired of waiting outside in line for over 45 minutes — only to discover the club was less than half full with a low key “masked” party happening in the basement area. Allegedly, there was a prepaid fee to get inside before a certain time, which most of the people in line paid, but was held up outside so that they might have to pay additional to get in, despite them showing up early and the venue being less than half full. Damn. It shouldn’t have gone out like that. This is supposed to be the last hurrah of the only Black gay nightclub in Brooklyn. 🤷🏾♂️ video taken by Jeremiyahhh
