This game has incredible cutscenes. I love the animation here, dare I say this is pretty much perfect. This is by far their best use of mocap ever, not only is it not very obvious I actually think it improves a lot of the animation. It’s just so fluid.

Idk how the hell I noticed this but the blue alt for King Dedede is misaligned by like one pixel. You can see the difference when switching back and forth quickly, it jitters up and down, but going from his normal and pink alts it doesn’t.

So what’s the general consensus on this cutscene? I kinda love the way Sonic reacts to seeing Shadow. It feels in character for Sonic to be fairly unfazed. Like there’s definitely a bit of confusion in his delivery but he just plays it off with a small comment.
