Janet Jackson pretty much invented alternative r&b with “Empty”. that's why she remains the blueprint

Dolly Parton performing “Coat of Many Colors" (1979)

PJ Harvey ~ This Is Love

Kate Bush – Egypt

one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs ever written

one of the most euphoric songs in existence

some days I think this might be the most beautiful song in existence

Grace Jones making music like this in her 60s is pure badassery

Portishead really is one of the most impressive bands of all time

“The Rip” is one of those staggering songs i wish i could hear again for the first time

genuinely one of the most nightmarish songs ever created that always amazes me

Kate Bush performing “Kashka from Baghdad”, a song she wrote that portrays a gay couple as loving and happy — which was very progressive and unusual for the 70s.

slowly becoming obsessed with this video. it's just delightfully deranged

I believe in PJ Harvey supremacy

Janet Jackson pretty much invented alternative r&b with “Empty”. that's why she remains the blueprint
