🚨 Aggressive illegal migrants landing in uk NOW!” 🚨 “Where are you from?” he shouted. “England.” The answer was met with a volley of shoes from a boat full of illegal migrants heading for the UK. You couldn’t script it. A small amount of the footage I got today More to follow!!! This is the reality I encounter documenting these crossings on the French coast. Agree with me or not, watch the video and decide for yourself. Dunkirk 25th July 5:30am #SmallBoats #EnglishChannel #BorderSecurity #DocumentaryPhotography #Breaking

🚨BREAKING FROM DUNKIRK 🚨 For the first time in all my trips to the French coast, I witnessed French authorities stopping a group of illegal migrants heading towards the beach, many already wearing lifejackets. But here’s the irony… While I documented the operation, the authorities were once again far more aggressive towards the photographer than those attempting to make the crossing. Watch the footage and judge for yourself. #Dunkirk #IllegalMigration #ChannelCrossings #BorderSecurity #France #UK #BreakingNews #DocumentaryPhotography #EnglishChannel

French gendarmes stopped me on Wissant Beach today and demanded my identification. Meanwhile, around 30 migrants were sitting on the beach just metres away. Three of us were asked for ID. None of the migrants appeared to be asked for theirs. If the priority is preventing illegal Channel crossings, shouldn’t enforcement be focused on those suspected of attempting them, rather than photographers documenting what’s happening? What do you make of these priorities? #Wissant #France #ChannelCrossings #BorderSecurity

Yesterday on the French coast, illegal migrants sat just metres from French gendarmes, waiting for their opportunity to cross into the UK. The UK has committed hundreds of millions of pounds to help prevent these crossings. Yet on the ground, all too often, it looks like little more than observation instead of intervention. How can anyone claim this strategy is working? What’s your plan Andy Burnham Anna Turley MP and if you’re free I’ll even bring you along to watch not free of charge obviously

Is this complicity? I filmed multiple groups of illegal migrants purchasing around 10–12 life jackets with crisp €50 notes, spending approximately €300 in one transaction. The life jackets were bought from Decathlon in Dunkirk, close to the largest illegal migrant camp in France. I then followed the group back to the camp, where they appeared to be preparing for a future small-boat crossing to the UK. You decide. #Dunkirk #France #UKBorder #SmallBoats #IllegalImmigration #CitizenJournalism

A group of migrants in the water at Wissant in France, attempt to take a lifeguard’s rescue board so they can reach a vessel heading for the English Channel crossing. A rescue board is there to save lives, not to facilitate a crossing. If people are willing to seize emergency rescue equipment before they’ve even reached the UK, what does that say about the situation we’re facing? Watch the video and make up your own mind. #Wissant #EnglishChannel #SmallBoats #BorderSecurity #UK

An illegal migrant leaves the small boat he has just boarded and comes back into the water to confront me on Wissant beach, France. Filmed on Saturday, 20 June 2026. This is one of the men who later arrived in the UK. I have a daughter, and scenes like this make me fear for her future and for the safety of our country. We cannot continue to look the other way. We should all demand that our borders are enforced and that this situation is brought under control. Stop being so bloody polite. Demand change. Demand action. Demand accountability. A nation that refuses to defend its borders risks surrendering its future. #UK #BorderSecurity #EnglishChannel #Migration #DocumentaryPhotography #Journalism #Wissant #France #SmallBoats #ProtectOurBorders

Illegal migrants openly walking through a French town on their way to the beaches before attempting to enter the UK illegally. They are being led by a charity worker and are openly carrying branded blue bags from a well-known outdoor equipment supplier. 📍Loon-Plage, France 📅 7 May 2026 This was all taking place in broad daylight. #IllegalMigration #ChannelCrossings #BorderSecurity #France #UK #EnglishChannel #Migration #DocumentaryPhotography #CitizenJournalism #LoonPlage

“You ruined my job.” Those were the words of a man I filmed on a previous trip after he had threatened to “cut my head off.” This time, he admitted my footage had affected his work as a smuggler What work? Organising illegal Channel crossings. Watch what happened next. While the focus was on me, the gendarmes threatened to arrest the photographer, not the man confronting me. And watch the charity worker quietly disappear rather than intervene. Is this really how Britain’s border crisis is being handled? #UK #SmallBoats #IllegalMigration #BorderSecurity #France #Calais #Wissant #Documentary #Journalism

French authorities: complicit in the illegal migrant crossings? Example 1: Officers guide and organise buses transporting migrants to the beaches. Example 2: Police vehicles escort or follow the buses, with officers also travelling on board. Example 3: On Dunkirk beach, officers stand by as migrants make their way to the water, with no apparent attempts to apprehend or prevent departures. These are the scenes I have documented. At what point do people decide the evidence deserves serious scrutiny? Watch the footage. Draw your own conclusions. #IllegalMigration #ChannelCrossings #Dunkirk #France #UKBorder #BorderSecurity #Migration #BreakingNews #Journalism #DocumentaryPhotography #TheNowherePhotographer

Illegal migrant throws a rock at me in front of French gendarmes, yet no action is taken. He then bends to pick up another rock right in front of the officers. Again, nothing. I have to warn him to back off myself, and still there’s no intervention. Instead, one officer threatens to arrest me if I continue taking photographs, claiming I need a permit to photograph in public in France. That was certainly a new one on me. Most of the group have likely since crossed to the UK. One of the men, however, I unexpectedly encountered again on my most recent trip—which raised even more questions. Watch the footage and decide for yourself. #France #Calais #ChannelCrossings #BorderSecurity #Photojournalism #DocumentaryPhotography #Migration #EnglishChannel #News

Illegal migrants buying fuel for the small boats used in the Channel crossings near Dunkirk. I came across this filling station just a short distance from the main migrant camp and watched multiple people purchase large fuel tanks before taking them back towards the camp. The following day, those boats would be launched towards the UK. This station appears to stock a significant number of XL fuel containers, which are commonly used for these crossings. The logistics behind these crossings are often in plain sight. #ChannelCrossings #Dunkirk #EnglishChannel #BorderSecurity #Migration #UnitedKingdom #France #Journalism #DocumentaryPhotography #BreakingNews #Photojournalism #TheNowherePhotographer
