🚨 WHY THROW AWAY YOUR ID BEFORE CROSSING TO ENGLAND? 🚨 On Sunday 6th September at Gravelines, I filmed another migrant boat leaving the French coast for England. That in itself is no longer unusual for me. What WAS unusual was what happened as they boarded. I’m used to seeing shoes and other belongings thrown away — but this time I clearly saw what appeared to be a driving licence/identity document deliberately thrown away. So I have some very simple questions: Why discard identification immediately before entering the UK? If you intend to claim asylum, why would you not want the authorities to know exactly who you are? Did this individual later give Home Office and UK Border Force his correct name and identity? Can his stated identity now be checked against the document I filmed being discarded? And perhaps most importantly — why is it so difficult for an ordinary member of the public to get evidence like this properly reported and investigated? I have the footage. I have the date and location. I am prepared to provide the original video to the relevant authorities. Will Shabana Mahmood MP or somebody within the Home Office actually take notice and look into it? Apologies for the delay posting this. First impressions from Ceuta. This footage was filmed yesterday, 31st July 2026, on the beach beside the southern border with Morocco. We parked in a relatively safe car park and walked down to the shoreline to get an unfiltered first look at what was happening on the ground. The man caught was then released like all the others I saw Today I’ll be back out, hoping to speak to people directly. The language barrier makes interviews challenging, but I’ll do my best. Thank you to everyone who suggested questions—I genuinely appreciate the ideas. One thing that still feels surreal: seeing soldiers with mounted machine guns on armoured Hummer-style vehicles. I don’t think that will ever feel normal. – Adrian

Slashed migrant boat What is left on board? Yesterday in Ceuta there were widespread reports, and many comments on my posts, claiming that everyone crossing the border had been sent back. What did I actually witness? I saw a large number of men, roughly aged 18–30, being escorted back towards Morocco by the authorities. In some cases, force was used. It did appear to me that the vast majority have left with mainly stragglers left hiding but I only arrived at 5pm approximately yesterday so it’s not a full picture I also saw local residents standing guard outside their homes and neighbourhoods. Some were carrying spanners, baseball bats and metal poles, warning groups of men to move on and leave the area. I’ll be spending the full day in Ceuta today to see how the situation develops and will report only what I witness. Apologies for the delays in posting yesterday. Mobile signal at the border was extremely poor, with multiple live TV broadcasts putting heavy demand on the network. When told by various locals and even army that this area is a no go zone just made me think I have to go, what’s the worst that can happen? 🚨 ROCKS THROWN AT ME AGAIN 🚨 A group of 5–7 illegal migrants were waiting beside the road, apparently trying to jump onto lorries heading for the UK. The moment they spotted my camera, rocks started coming my way. This is what I’m seeing on the ground in France: men openly attempting to enter the UK illegally, then turning aggressive when they’re filmed doing it. French gendarmes stopped me on Wissant Beach today and demanded my identification. Meanwhile, around 30 migrants were sitting on the beach just metres away. Three of us were asked for ID. None of the migrants appeared to be asked for theirs. If the priority is preventing illegal Channel crossings, shouldn’t enforcement be focused on those suspected of attempting them, rather than photographers documenting what’s happening? A walkthrough of an illegal migrant camp during an attempted eviction by the authorities. Was it sensible? No. Was it safe? No. Was it worth it? YES. Without calculated risk, you simply cannot bring people this kind of footage from the ground. Yes, I could have stood safely on the road with a long lens. I could have sent up a drone. Loon plage lorry park close to the largest illegal migrant camp in the region It’s 20 minutes drive to Calais port and the illegals just walk here day in day out and wander about until they find a lorry to climb on Gendarmes are here but not very efficient or logical about their work I could solve this with two units or one unit of 3 people on foot per day A lack of logic as they only get on at 3 points Footage is sped up at points to see the time they take and how easy it is to capture them
