More NPM specials! If you search for my package “tsc-rs” by name, you get multiple forks of my package before mine. All the clones have under 1/50th as many downloads.

Holy shit this is incredible for in-app mocks of UI changes. Opus 5.5 just made real mocks for 5 different treatments and rendered them in-thread 🤯

I give up. We now stream responses in T3 Code by default. (Not token by token because that makes zero sense)

I asked Opus 5.5 to fix one of my biggest annoyances on Github (clicking screenshots opens in new tab) 1.5 minutes later, I had a working Chrome extension that fixes the behavior. I know this is basic stuff, but it still feels magical that you can just fix things.

I give it 10 days before everyone starts copying this workflow. Seriously can't believe we've been dealing with single rows of text for over a year.

"npx t3 connect" This one's been a lot of work. You can now set up remote control for T3 Code on any internet-connected box with literally one command. All for free. T3 Connect is a minimal open source tunnel layer allowing you to control T3 Code instances remotely without needing Tailscale set up. I've been daily driving it for a month and it has changed how I code. Julius and I put a lot of effort into making setup as smooth as possible. Step 1: Install Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Grok Build Step 2: Run "npx t3 connect" Step 3: Click link and sign in Step 4: You can now control that computer on T3 Code web, desktop or mobile (dropping very soon) We are currently providing this for free (s/o CloudFlare for bumping our tunnel limits). Every user can connect up to 3 devices. We don't want to charge for this, but if the bill gets unacceptable we may have to change course. If you hit limits or have issues, you can always fork, self host, or use Tailscale. T3 Connect may seem like a small ergonomic win. Tbh that's exactly what it is. Regardless, it's one I'm really proud of.

Opus 5.5 just filed a pull request that changes the streaming behavior in T3 code. It's so cool that I can send off a prompt with a vague idea of what I want, and the result is a ready-to-merge pull request with a video demo of the changes directly in the PR. The PRs I make with AI are significantly better than the ones I used to make by hand. The future is awesome.

Claude Code has regressed an absurd amount in the last few days. Timestamps no longer update unless you un-focus/re-focus the tab. "thinking" doesn't show at all. I had a query run for 6 minutes with 0 output. This is genuinely unpleasant to use.

Took a bit of hunting, but I managed to get a VLC v4 nightly build running on my Mac. It's so good. Buttery smooth. Zero issues. UI is significantly better too. How can we help ship this faster, VideoLAN?

What a wild ride this has been. Over 7 million messages backfilling on demand, with another 15 million on the way. We did it. Everyone's now using the latest T3 Chat. I'm so relieved we finally shipped.

If you understand your whole codebase, the codebase isn't that important. Real software is larger than what your brain can comprehend.

I was genuinely hopeful for Gemini 4 Argon. There are some good parts, but generally speaking, this model should be avoided.

We just shipped in-app visualization capabilities in T3 Code. This enables agents to build cool dynamic experiences within the thread. Huge shoutout to Ben Davis for pushing us on this (and building most of it). Didn't expect to dig it so much.

"but theo, AI keeps getting more expensive! Do you really think those $200 plans are gonna stick around?" AI is getting cheaper. The $200 plans will get better over time, not worry (ignore OAI they don't count right now)

A lot of people have been asking me “how do I actually use 6 Claude subs and 3 Codex subs?” I got drunk as I tried to explain it. IMO this is one of my best videos ever. Early apologies if it gets you banned 💀

It's hard to justify using models that are dumber than Fable and Astra. For real-world code work, the benefits massively outweigh the cost. The benefit isn't better code, it's something else that's more subtle.

It's 4am. I just finished a project I've wanted for awhile. This is Slopalytics. It's a much better view for Artificial Analysis data. It also has a bunch of usage data from T3 Code. I plan to add much more in the near future, including some new benchmarks :)

Astra was able to get Super Smash Bros Melee compiled for Mac OS, running at 120 FPS with higher resolutions and upscalable textures. Took about 6 hours in a loop. We live in wild times.
