I’m genuinely fascinated by what these people think they’re achieving. Does waving a St George’s flag over a dual carriageway somehow improve the NHS, reduce bills or fix the country’s problems? Or is the entire exercise about getting attention?

The “patriots” are out defending British values again. British values presumably being Foster’s and arguing with the police.

The Bristol Balaclava Society has held its annual general meeting. Attendance was excellent. Achievements remain unclear.

Imagine calling yourself a “patriot” while marching through Southampton chanting “deport the f****** lot” and proudly holding up a bag of pork scratchings. This is genuinely embarrassing.

The second-hand embarrassment watching this is unbearable. Grown adults parading around as though they're liberating occupied territory. You're in Telford, for goodness' sake.

Nigel Farage accepts a £5m gift. Reform voter: “No problem.” Rumour that foreigners might get free driving lessons? Absolute meltdown. It’s amazing what some people decide is worth getting angry about.

“Lawful. Disciplined. Peaceful.” Nothing says friendly community movement quite like turning up dressed as though you’re about to invade a small European principality.

When an off duty police officer reportedly has to stop what they’re doing and deal with you, it might be time to reconsider your life choices.

Imagine being a grown man, approaching a car containing a mother and her young daughter, and telling the child: “You’re brown. Your mum’s brown. And you stink. Get some deodorant.” What possesses someone to behave like this?

Bravo to this person for refusing to serve far-right bigots!

Some videos deserve to be preserved for future generations. This is one of them. An extraordinary lesson in how quickly confidence can disappear.

“PROTECT OUR WOMEN!” they scream at every opportunity. Then an ITV undercover investigation captures Reform UK councillors making vile, sexualised remarks about a female colleague. Apparently, protecting women is only a priority when they can blame immigrants. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Imagine reaching the point where apparently shoplifting from Greggs in broad daylight feels completely routine. Take what you want. Walk out. Leave the staff to deal with it. How did we get to the stage where this looks so normal?

Every time someone calls themselves a “patriot” on social media, there’s an increasingly high chance something spectacularly embarrassing is about to follow.

This might be the most unintentionally funny 20 seconds of British patriotism I’ve seen in a while.

The Union flag represents a country of different nations, cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. It’s quite amusing when people use it to argue that everyone should be the same.

Marches into M&amp;S draped in a Union Jack, causes a scene, then suddenly becomes very interested in whether the police are coming. Quite the character arc for three minutes.

Imagine getting yourself this angry because some people “aren’t even English”. No coherent argument required. Just shout about foreigners, mention tax and keep getting progressively angrier. A masterclass in making absolutely nobody else look bad.

Police everywhere. People arguing. Streets disrupted. And somehow we’re supposed to look at this and think Britain is being rescued.
