This game is 15 years old. > No ray-tracing > No AI upscaling > No frame-gen > Takes only 20gb > Developed in just 3 yrs GTX 580 ran BF3 on Ultra with 1.5gb VRAM Now you drop $1200 on a GPU and can barely hold 60 FPS in modern games without DLSS Why did we go backwards?

Characters look real, because they are. ❌ 3D modeling ✅ Filming This indie dev: - recorded professional actors - color graded the raw videos - imported them into the engine - sliced them into separate animations 100% Full Motion Video (FMV) I reached out to the dev, and he gave me some behind-the-scenes footage you can see below. Such a smart way to get photorealistic graphics without melting your GPU. Basically a modern version of the trick that was used in the classic Mortal Kombat. I think we'll see this tech in more indie games soon.

Best Buy aren't idiots. GTA 6 preorder leak was 100% intentional. Look at who got the emails. It wasn’t random customers. It was affiliates, deal accounts, and streamers. They sent the emails to the people who make a living sharing breaking news. That's a massive marketing campaign for $0. The leaked preorder window is May 18-21. What else is on May 21? Take-Two’s Q4 earnings call. This little "mistake" just pumped $TTWO’s market cap by $2 billion overnight right before they talk to shareholders. Plus, let's be real. A leak gets 10x the engagement of a boring PR tweet because it feels like a secret we weren't supposed to find. And it's working, my timeline is full of conspiracy theories. It's a clever strategy tbh. Are you buying that Best Buy messed up, or was this planned from the start?

GTA 6 is delaying PC, because... Look at the GTA Online revenues below. The gap between console and PC earnings is INSANE. PC players can easily bypass the Shark Card economy. They can use mods or play in unofficial roleplay servers like FiveM. But on Playstation and Xbox, you're locked into official servers where the only way up is to grind or pay. Rockstar is delaying the PC release to protect the launch economy of GTA Online 2.0 They're forcing the entire player base onto consoles for the first 12-18 months, and trapping their biggest whales in a closed ecosystem where microtransactions can't be bypassed. It guarantees them the maximum bag during the peak hype window. Plus, Rockstar acquired FiveM team back in 2023. The delay buys them time to figure out how to officially monetize the PC modding scene before they open the floodgates. What percentage of PC gamers do you think will get a console just to play GTA 6 at launch?

Fake nostalgia porn. Screaming "I'm different" for attention. It's the same performative bs as those mfers wearing wired earbuds to look vintage. He's a 2000s kid lmao. PS1 isn't even his childhood console, he grew up on PS2 and PS3. It’s just a prop to him. Ain't nobody packing a controller with the cable dangling out like that unless they want the cameras to catch it. Out here larping as an analog everyman while flexing designer chains and a bag that costs more than my car. It's like those influencers who buy vintage typewriters just to film themselves writing in a $10k hoodie. Hollow and desperate. Tbh worst part is that you're at a national team camp. You're supposed to be locked in and representing your country. Instead bro is staging an airport photo-op for engagement like a tiktoker. Pathetic...

> Turns 10 this year > Still mogs modern releases > Runs on a toaster Battlefield 1 hasn’t aged a day. That magic in ARC Raiders isn't a coincidence. It's the same talent (the former DICE team) that built this masterpiece. Crazy how they nailed the optimization on both. I’d get 80 FPS on Ultra with a GTX 1060 back in the day.

Frontlines looks fun, but the map is "meh" Battlefront maps felt like real planets because DICE used photogrammetry to capture the real world. They literally scanned actual geological formations (like Iceland and the Redwoods) to build 1:1 organic topography, instead of using flat modular assets. Of course there's a massive budget difference between the two, Frontlines is just a Fortnite mod after all. I'm just saying it probably won't scratch that Battlefront 3 itch. Anyone tried it?

Why ARC Raiders sounds so damn GOOD? ❌ Use stock sound libraries ✅ Capture raw authentic live recordings The team took live weapons to an abandoned factory on the outskirts of Stockholm. They perfectly mimicked the acoustic echo of a dense city. And when they combined them with dynamic in-game acoustics: The result is that incredibly realistic, booming echo when a firefight breaks out across the map in ARC Raiders and The Finals 👇

No OLED or Mini-LED? Turn off HDR. A basic LCD monitor aggressively compresses the bright lighting to fit its 400nit limit and flattens the image. Worse… to hit that fake peak, it cranks global brightness to 100%. This completely washes out the darks. Cheap HDR basically takes the game's lighting, squeezes it from the top and stretches it from the bottom. Don't let the "HDR" marketing sticker fool you. You're better off going with SDR all night. But if you do have an OLED or Mini-LED, turning on HDR will make a real difference after you calibrate it. Here's a comparison on my Mini-LED TV 👇 Notice how the shadows stay dark while the highlights pop. This is what HDR is supposed to look like.

> be CD Projekt Red > 2015: release The Witcher 3 > win every award, print money for years > watch the AAA industry lose its mind > rivals burn billions chasing "live service" > forcing battle passes and $20 skins > hero shooters die in weeks, studios close > meanwhile, you do absolutely nothing > your single player game just sits there > sells 50M copies on reputation alone > 2026: eleven years after launch > announce a brand new expansion > no roadmap, no FOMO, no in-game store > the entire internet breaks anyway They out-liveserviced the entire liveservice industry with a 11-yo single player game.

🤖 First look at this tall/floating ARC! It was even teased in the trailers. I’m sure it’ll be added to the game.
