He is Sam Pepper, a well-known influencer in the UK. He came to India on Diwali and fired a rocket toward a group of kids, hitting a little girl. Because it was livestreamed, he couldn’t delete the footage, and his followers openly criticised him for the reckless act and expressed concern for the child. He later claimed that the girl had only a minor cut, that he paid for the hospital expenses, apologised, and that the matter was settled. He immediately left India after that. However, the truth is coming out now. The girl did not suffer a minor cut but permanent damage to her left eye, full-thickness corneal injury with uveal tissue prolapse. She lost her eye because a gora streamer wanted to have “reckless fun.” The Indians who feel “ashamed as an Indian” the moment some gora experiences the slightest discomfort here should now see how many gora feel “ashamed as a British” for this. Requesting Randhir Jaiswal to take up this issue officially with the UK govt. This incident must have serious legal and financial repercussions for that influencer.

Suppose two cars are traveling on an expressway at 100 km/h with a 50-meter gap. If the front car slams on its brakes, it takes about 3.5 seconds and nearly 50 meters to stop. If the driver behind does nothing, a collision occurs in exactly 3.5 seconds. This gives the rear driver a 3.5-second window to avoid a crash. For an alert driver, 1 second is reaction time, leaving 2.5 seconds to brake and stop safely. Now, consider the same 50-meter gap, but the front car is reversing at 10 km/h. For the car approaching from behind at 100 km/h, the closing speed skyrockets to 110 km/h, slashing the time before collision to just 1.6 seconds. In reality, it is even worse: because drivers never expect a vehicle to reverse on an expressway, their brains freeze. Reaction time jumps from 1 second to 2, 3, or more. At high speeds, drivers often crash before even realizing they need to brake. That's why reversing on an expressway is hundred times more dangerous than a sudden braking. A maneuver that feels slow to the reversing driver creates an unexpectedly violent closing speed for those behind, leaving virtually no time to react. In the video, a family of seven missed their exit on the Dehradun expressway to Haridwar. They reversed, were struck from behind, and four of them died.

The Prime Minister's car being washed at a local car wash. The car wash owner made the video and posted it on Instagram. Please note, this isn’t one of the cars from the PM’s cavalcade, but THE car in which the PM travels. I’m sure there must be a dedicated washing and servicing area for the PM’s cavalcade in the govt setup, duly supervised by the SPG. Then how did this happen? A potential security disaster!

The ill-fated cruise that capsized in Jabalpur killed 9, with several still missing. Look, no life jackets. Survivors said they asked the crew to turn back when winds worsened, but were ignored. Life jackets were given only after cruise began capsizing. Another reminder: avoid deep water activities in India unless you can swim well. Operators don’t use life jackets. Even when they do, they are cheap, low-quality, poorly maintained, or outright substandard, sometimes waterlogged, torn, or with failing straps, just to tick a box. Certification labels are missing or meaningless, and regular inspection or replacement is rare.

The Congress headquarters today, after winning Kerala, the only state that matters, because what Kerala thinks today, the country thinks tomorrow. Kerala’s results show the national mood and are an indication of what’s coming in the 2029 general elections. Be very scared, BJP.

Old mock interview of civil servant Akash Kumar Rauniyar, Circle Officer, Sasaram, Bihar. From his speech, he looked like an honest and upright officer, and he did prove it. When the Vigilance team caught him today for allegedly demanding a ₹3 lakh bribe to resolve a disputed land mutation case, they were surprised to find that Akash treats common people and his peers equally. The person he allegedly sought the bribe from was a revenue employee from his own department. Dayan bhi saat ghar chhod deti hai, but Akash doesn't. He has set an example for officers: give special favours to no one and treat those you serve and those you serve with equally.

Passenger complained to RailwaySeva about caterer overcharging. RailSeva takes the PNR and seat no. and passes them to irctc to solve it, who tells the contractor, who tells his men, and they come beat up the passenger. I’ve seen at least two more such cases. Complain, share your details, and then get beaten up because of those very details. This needs to be streamlined. Complaints should be investigated by a third party. Sharing passenger details with the very people the complaint is against, and then forcing direct contact, makes no sense. Instead, collect passenger details, verify the complaint, and refund directly to their account, without bringing them face-to-face. (11463 Somnath Jabalpur express)

Jhansi, a passenger on the Andaman Express named Nihaal, crossed all lines of decency by objecting to being overcharged for food. The catering staff could have thrown him off the moving train for such audacity, but being law-abiding citizens, they chose to only beat him peacefully with a belt and a few punches. A fine display of the great hospitality Indian Railway catering services is famous for. Hope the monster Nihaal has learned his lesson.

A Russian woman is disappointed at Indians’ casual littering. India isn’t even her country, yet she feels bad, while Indians, sitting at Wagah border of all places, where national pride should come naturally, throw trash without a second thought. Eleven years of an old man requesting people to keep the nation clean under Swachh Bharat, and still no change. Littering isn’t an exception, it’s the rule. The masses do it shamelessly. The only thing they deserve is the Latth, but in our democracy, these very litterbugs are worshipped as janta janardan instead. What a pathetic state of affairs!

Chhotu Lal Sharma, the SDM, is now crying and playing the victim, who would’ve imagined such a day before the social media era! That’s the power of social media. Otherwise, this very SDM would’ve easily kept those three regular men rotting in jail for years, and no one would’ve ever known. Even a daroga can do that, and this one was an SDM. Watching him cry feels oddly therapeutic. Slowly but surely, these brown angrez are losing their licence to misuse power, thanks to social media and our collective efforts.

These are Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goel. They were engaged and supposed to get married this year. Look how happy, in love, and comfortable they are with each other. They must have dreamed of a great future together, but cruel fate had other ideas. On June 18, Siya's birthday, Ketan fell to his death when he slipped while taking a picture of Siya at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra. Siya's world turned upside down. She was broken; her dreams, her love, and her future were all gone in a flash, right in front of her eyes. An emotionally grieving Siya wrote a heartbreaking Instagram story for Ketan: "You left me on my birthday. You left when we were so close to getting married. I still can't understand why you did this to me. I had dreams, questions I'll never get answers to. Why did you leave me when I loved you so much? Mere dil ko pata hai ki tu yahi hai. Wapas aaja." Feeling sad for her? Well, don't. The police found the story suspicious and dug deep. They now say that Siya was in a relationship with another guy named Chetan Chaudhary, 22. She did not want to marry Ketan, a man her family had chosen for her, so she devised a plan to eliminate him from her life before their arranged marriage could take place. Police claim that Siya lured Ketan to Lohagad Fort under the pretext of a casual outing for her birthday, where Chetan was also waiting. Together, Siya and Chetan threw him off the cliff. The police have since arrested them both. What is even more outrageous is that Siya had tried to throw Ketan off the cliff four days earlier, on June 14. However, a tree broke his fall, preventing a fatal outcome. When a bewildered Ketan asked why she did it, Siya claimed she had seen a snake near the edge of the fort and had pushed him in an attempt to save him, accidentally sending him over the edge. Ketan thanked her and hugged her. Since she was unsuccessful doing it alone, she persuaded Ketan to accompany her to the fort again four days later, telling him she wanted to celebrate her birthday with friends. Chetan was waiting there, and this time, they didn't fail.
