On Nov 1, 2025, Amaira, a Class 4 student, died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of the Neerja Modi School in Jaipur. She had been bullied for 18 months, with classmates targeting her using "bad words," many of which carried sexual undertones. However, her class teacher repeatedly dismissed complaints from both Amaira and her parents, telling them instead that she needed to adjust to the other kids. The parents have now released the school CCTV footage they obtained to the public. The footage reveals that even on the day of her death, Amaira approached the teacher multiple times for help but was ignored. Hard to believe that teachers, even at such posh schools, are not trained to handle severe bullying or recognize a child in deep psychological distress. Totally preventable death.

How desperate do you have to become after being out of power for so long that you start abandoning your own principles? In 2012, Akhilesh Yadav himself had expelled DP Yadav from the SP, citing his criminal background. Today, the same party is giving a platform to Digvijay Bhati, who has nine criminal cases against him, simply because his “victim” narrative fits their politics. Bhati was called to the police station in connection with a Zila Badar notice and other cases against him. He now alleges that he was assaulted and makes caste-based allegations, but the police have denied these claims. According to the police, he was injured after falling from his scooty while returning from the police station. There is another uncomfortable fact here. During the July 2026 Meerut protests over the killing of a Dalit woman, police identified Bhati among those allegedly responsible for provoking protesters and escalating the situation. Yet today, his version is being presented as gospel truth.

US-Iran Peace Talks Fail. The US delegation, led by JD Vance, entered the meeting arena first. This was strange, because the party that claims to be the upper hand typically arrives last. Shortly after, the Iranian delegation arrived. They greeted the mediator, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, but informed him that they refused to negotiate due to recent threats issued by Trump. They didn't meet Vance and then abruptly left. A panicked Sharif frantically requested his boss, "Field Marshal" Munir, to intervene, but Munir also appeared helpless. Watching from a distance, Vance approached and asked what had happened. A shaken Sharif and Munir apologetically explained the situation to him.

A few days ago, this video went viral, showing speed breakers on NH-25. People naturally assumed that locals had installed them, because who else would? After all, speed breakers are illegal on highways. Today, NHAI issued a "clarification" that they only had installed them at the "request" (read: political lobbying or pressure) of a local public representative, and that these are not speed breakers but rumble strips. Lol! The way these people think the aam janta of this country has no brains of their own is unbelievable!

This is the result when actors treat acting primarily as an art form rather than just a means to wealth and fame. Pay attention to his forehead vein and eyes. The way the vein bulges violently and his eyes tear up immediately as he starts screaming is incredible. This happens when an actor actually feels the anger and pain rather than just pretending in front on camera. Wonder which Indian actor has the potential to match this level of intensity. This is the fallout of too much democracy and a soft state (toward certain community groups). He blocked the road, stood in a macho pose, sword drawn, sunglasses on, (probably) beer in hand. All the ingredients of swag to look cool in the reel that he knows is being recorded and will be posted on social media with chest-thumping captions. What he is doing is punishable under BNS Section 221, but I doubt he'll even be called for questioning. This behavior comes when you are 100% sure that there will be no consequences for such audacity. The Army jawans, bound by the orders not to argue with civilians, won't react. The police, under pressure from politicians to not touch electorally important groups, won't do much either.

Good points. Being high in sugar and salt content raises separate questions but the problem in branding is even more evident: if the taste is desi, the roots are Indian and the pride is “Born in India, Loved by India,” why call it “Lahori”? Jab swaad apne desh ka, toh naam “Lahori” kyun?

The govt totally deserves this mocking. I mean, if you decided to surrender, fine, you could have done it by calling a press conference and resign by saying, 'We are bowing down to regular students.' Or you could have called Wangchuk and yielded to him. Or you could have called the parents of the NEET leak suicide victims, expressed regret, and resigned in front of them. You could have even called the ordinary students who were part of the protest. All of the above would be more sensitive and good optics too. But instead, you chose to call the trolls affiliated with a political party and desperately surrendered to every single demand of theirs. You were so desperate to shake hands and appease them. For what, man? Who was the think tank behind this?

As the buzz around the Jantar Mantar protest dies down, Madhya Pradesh is back in the news. SDM Ram Niwas of Panna district ordered two mobile covers worth ₹120 from Flipkart. When the delivery boy arrived with the sealed package, the SDM opened it and found only one mobile cover instead of two. Rather than raising a complaint with Flipkart, he allegedly abused the delivery boy and demanded an immediate refund. The delivery boy dared to tell His Lordship that that's not how e-commerce works. He explained that the parcel was sealed, that it was likely a packing or logistics error, and that the proper course was to raise a complaint with Flipkart, which would handle the resolution through its return process. His Lordship took offense at being told how the process worked. He allegedly called the police, and the delivery boy was reportedly arrested under Section 151 of the BNSS. (Source: Aaj Tak)

Whenever I feel sad about youth taunting, or abusing the security forces, I remember this video. During Op Sindoor last year, the Chandigarh administration called for Civil Defence Volunteers as the city's second line of defense for emergency and disaster response. Thousands of young men and women turned up, purely as unpaid volunteers. The turnout far exceeded expectations. As the crowd spilled onto the roads shouting pro-Army and anti-Pakistan slogans, police had to step in, call reinforcement and open a parallel site at Tiranga Urban Park to handle the registration and orientation rush. This reflects the true spirit of our youth and their deep respect for the country and the armed forces. For every "We're GenZ, we will not tolerate this nonsense. They (soldiers) get paid from our tax money, they are not more important than us" individual, there are lakhs of youth ready to step up.

Some rashtr-drohi offered highly revered baal-sant Shri Shri Abhinav Arora ₹12.5 lakh to speak against the ethanol policy. Not ₹10 lakh, not 12 lakh but a very specific ₹12.5 lakh, an organic figure, highly realistic. But why did that person approach the baal-sant, specially when being a saint he is only into devotion and has left materialistic things like money forever? Anyway, the baal-sant said, "No, I will not commit this sin. Instead, I shall immediately make a video and share this with the people of the nation." Since the baal-sant has the tender heart of a tiny soft newborn lamb, he chose not to reveal the identity of that rashtr-drohi. He did not want an entire family to suffer because of one person's sin. So he made a video without sharing a name, phone number, or email address of the person who offered him money. In the video, the baal-sant also subtly conveyed, without explicitly saying it, that the criticism of the ethanol policy is supposedly being driven by people who are paid to spread lies, confusion, and half-baked information. And since the baal-sant is a sachha-rashtrpremi, he would never do such a thing. My naman to bal-sant.
