A whole kitchen is packed precisely inside a brass container. It is believed to be from late 19th century; formerly owned by some palace and was used during picnics or hunting trips. The brilliance of Indian arts & mathematics. As a proud WGSHA-ite I am honored for being a small part of our institute. THE KONARK WHEEL Built in the 13th century, the Konark Sun Temple (a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site) is a monumental representation of the chariot of the Sun God. Its 24 wheels are decorated with symbolic designs and led by seven horses symbolizing time. This temple is located on the Eastern shores of the Indian state of Odisha. A beautiful example of the intricacies of temple architecture and art of India. A masterpiece of creative genius that took 12 years to build by12,000 artisans. DETAILED SPECIFICATION OF THIS SCULPTURE Made of sand stone, this is a handcrafted replication that is inspired by the wheels at Konark Sun Temple.
