Bad drivers never miss their exit. 40% of all highway crashes occur at or near interchanges. This isn't the truck's fault but I know when I see a junction coming up especially with informational road signs I know expect some foolishness.

We have plenty of dock bumpers and oil changers.) 👉65.5% of shops are understaffed, with 19.3% of tech positions unfilled. 👉Tech schools currently supply just 10k techs per year 👉61.8% of new diesel techs are hired W/O formal training 👉30% are unqualified in essential skill areas. If you can't maintain and keep equipment running, the world stops.

Surprisingly there is no criminal background check for carrier/broker authority. For less than an arguable $1500-$2k, you can get authority and access people's freight. That's an issue. 2nd, Claims against broker bonds are at all time highs. Brokering right now is bad timing.

When the road sign says road closed, There's a barricades and rail crossing, whether you cross those because you can't understand them or whether you cross those because you lack common sense you have an issue. I've always said that I agree ELP is an issue, but I will double down and say our licensing standards are our number one issue. Our training standards are our second issue.
