The #1 thing I like about relay cropping…you can walk away from the field. I think future equipment will band apply seed, chemistry…and fertilizer in 1 pass and use plants to reduce inputs. I also believe there is a huge value in doing it well…better. By modeling these attributes created with poly crop arrangements. With the depressed price of 🌽 , price of nitrogen and phosphorus I can’t grow enough bushels..cheap enough to compete with a good wheat crop and a full soybean crop.. the challenge that could be easily engineered is creating the equipment to make this less total work than Monocropping. Because of canopy management and indexed inputs in relevant time and space.

🚨 DATA CENTER WATER USE IS MASSIVELY MISUNDERSTOOD From my conversation with $WULF CEO Paul Prager: Day one at their Lake Mariner facility (600MW AI data center) they filled the closed-loop system with 10,000 gallons of water. Since then, the site has only needed single-digit gallons of top-off. That’s less than the average U.S. swimming pool, which holds 15-20k gallons. The media narrative around data center water use is very disconnected from how modern closed-loop systems actually work.

Many of you have probably seen this video going around over the last week. It shows Idaho Gov. Brad Little’s former policy advisor, who is now a leading lobbyist for the Idaho agriculture sector, saying that American workers are “unreliable.” It's insulting that those in the Governor's orbit would demean the hard working men and women who built this nation— including the very industry this lobbyist now claims to represent. Maybe they should instead work to rebuild the U.S. industrial pipeline and train up young Idahoans so they can bring innovation to our ag economy. But we have a cheap labor lobby in Idaho so powerful that people in positions of power in a Red State sound no different on immigration than an open borders liberal from California.

AI can't replace a 3D artist yet. I gave a loop of AI agents two days to fix my animations. This is what I got back. Day 15 + 16 of building my own GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - Aiming works now, you can line up a shot properly. - Camera movement is in, it follows you the way it should. - Walking turns look right, no more sliding around corners. We have spent two whole days letting the loop work on the animations and got basically no improvement. The ones we're ending up with and the free ones off Mixamo both look cheap. So we're probably just going to buy a premium animation pack off Epic and hand it to Claude. Good news is aiming and the camera feel real now. Making the character move like it isn't a cheap asset is the next wall.

This is how every home gym owner ever feels while training around their family. Everyone's just chilling, relaxing, having a good time, and then you're the weirdo in the corner strapping bands and chains to your body like you're out of some horror movie, giving absolutely max effort, producing all sorts of Helm's Deep guttural noises, and having the time of your life. The way you know you're doing it enough is by seeing absolutely zero reactions from those just hanging out around you. If it's just white noise to them, it means you're doing it enough. If they look and comment, you need to start doing it more often. Whenever, I yell, "Yeah BUDDY, ain't nothin' but a peanut!" at the top of my lungs, my Wife doesn't even look up anymore. It's incredible.
