Got lost at China's BIGGEST cultural fair—and it was the BEST thing that happened. Day 1 at the 22nd ICIF, Shenzhen. 8 halls. 160,000㎡. I was completely overwhelmed … until I bumped into two Italian volunteers—Gloria & Luca—students learning Chinese who were guiding visitors through the maze! They led me to Hall 11: Egypt, Mali, Nepal, France, India, Vietnam, Italy… cultures colliding in one space . They even showed me the Italian zone—a Leonardo da Vinci–inspired showcase that brought centuries of art to life Luca called it the biggest event he'd ever been part of. For me? Getting lost turned into the most meaningful moment of the day. Sometimes, losing your way is exactly how you find the world.
