Cal HC Tosh Lupoi on if QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele could go back in “Jaron, when we came out, was medically cleared. I personally was not comfortable with the way he came off the field. He was medically cleared to go in. I made that decision to not jeopardize Jaron’s health. Much more important than any game is his health. I made that decision, not going to put anyone in harms way.”

Tosh Lupoi on operational changes to Cal offense and ST In part: “I got a lot of faith in what we’re doing going forward. You’ve got Pat McCann, Nick Rolovich, Keith Bhonapha, great staff and elevating some responsibilities within owning some specific roles and organizing. Want to give our players great clarity as they deserve. You’ve heard me celebrating what a great staff we have and I stand by that. We’re also a staff that has to challenge ourself to see where we’ve faltered.”

He was honest and truthful from the beginning. That's what you want, you don't get that everywhere." TKR: "Being able to get a great education, play winning basketball as a 19-23 year old, its all you can ask for." FL: "The decision to come to Purdue turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Purdue is a special place and I'm glad I did it."

Tosh Lupoi on QB entering tonight with Jackson Brousseau and JKS “I think Jackson sparked us. Lead us to a huge win last week and earned that right. As Jaron restored his health, came available here. That was the first opportunity for Jaron to play under Pat McCann, that’s why I put him in there.” Specific to why JKS down 41 (I misheard the end of the above answer): “I just said it.”

Arkansas HC John Calipari on how the incoming recruits of Jordan Smith, JJ Andrews and Abdou Toure add the physicality the Hogs need to get on Arizona and Florida's level and roster construction going forward "All 3 are five star players but they're physical. They have a beast to them, which you have to have when you're playing 25 years olds....there are people with no recruits, no idea who is coming back and now all of a sudden trying to keep guys and figure out who wants to come. That's all there and we all have to deal with it. Guys going pro, they may come back. It's a little bit harder than it has been."

Still recovering from Stanford’s Jay Green and his answer on Bay Area Mexican vs his hometown H Town Tex Mex “I’ve been kind of let down in the Bay Area as far as food. Our Tex mex is the best in the world. I haven’t found any Mexican food in the Bay Area that compares to Texas.”

Herb Sendek with a nice answer on the reflection now and later on for this Santa Clara team "Sports is a tremendous vessel to enjoy relationships. My father was able to be in the stands with other family members, the relationships you have with your staff. The game is a vessel to accomplish that and that's what you take away. Any season, even ones that you don't win as many, they have the same outcome ultimately."

Tommy Lloyd on why it was important to him to mention the late Arizona HC Lute Olson on court postgame "He gave me a better life. His legacy in Tucson is so powerful. He's the main catalyst to make our program the center of our community. People in Tucson really want to like their basketball coach. The reason they want to love you is because they love Lute so much. Without Lute, without Sean Miller doing what he did, I wouldn't be here today. This is for them too and I have no problem sharing the success of this team with the coaches that came before me."

Cal RB Adam Mohammed on the first meeting with Tosh and if the UW vs Oregon performance got brought up “He never brought that up but as soon as I hit the portal, we had a two hour meeting, we were talking and he was like ‘if he goes in the portal, I’m going to get him’. Talking to him about life and ball, we clocked right then and there.”

Jai Lucas on what makes Miami a place that can host a great basketball program "Once I got to meet the people, it was a no brainer. It's the people that make places. We had great people in building this year that made my job easy. I was blessed to have the right people, great support from administration and the fans. They really built a great foundation and its my job to keep it rolling where this time next year we're talking about going to a Sweet 16."
