This cow has been with us for 7 years, she’s calved every year. She’s one of the quietest cows on the farm. This is why you should never trust any of them. Last night wasn’t a good one. Dani is ok, just bruised, but if she was lone working it could of been different. Hellish.

Day number 4 of heading to hell. I’m using a tractor, drilling ploughed land (barbaric 😱) I’m sowing barley, which i will use to make beef and also provide bedding for them. I know, i should have been growing almonds or Quinoa but remember,i’m going to hell. Happy Easter

🥩🇬🇧🥩 Finally getting around to clipping the cattle after a busy few weeks. These guys are averaging 480kgs at 12m old. Heaviest is 560kg. I’m not sure you can get much more efficient than that. British beef.

6 years ago, we invested in Auto steer. It’s slowly starting to work. It does answer back, it does forget stuff and it does take a lot of feed (anything with sugar in) The next generation on a farm must learn from a young age to respect machines and understand them. I learned on a MF 135 with no power steering or door or roof or mudguards or guards in general.
