He's young, springy, a strong Wing Stopper, & despite wonky form is a solid 3PT shooter. A, C+, & A grade difficulty-adjusted shooting from the rim, midrange, & deep. A- Talent but F Optimization held his impact stats back. He's #4 in the NBA in Defensive Positional Versatility. A- Rim Protection, B- Help D, B+ Iso Defense, A Defensive Playmaking, A- Matchup Difficulty. RE: the Perimeter Iso Defense Here's a sampling of Ayton iso defensive film. Lots of tough matchups and he's looking solid. He's staying in front well and getting a lot of strong contests off. He does a nice job not fouling.
