Morning all, someone said yesterday that Maeda's second goal in midweek was the best Celtic team goal he had ever seen. Well, I think Celtic of 1986 might say, 'hold my beer!'

Morning all, Lubo Moravcik was a technically gifted player who was two footed and able to trap a ball instantly. On one occasion he demonstrated a method of getting a high ball under control that I haven't seen before or since...

Is this going to be a thing now or are we borrowing this song for a temporary wind up?

The poor referees are scrutinised from the first moments of the season but you'd have to say if Kyogo was onside then this was surely a penalty?

Few team goals in Celtic's history were as poetic as this one. Was it really 37 years ago!

That outside of the boot pass from Kuhn to Kyogo was outstanding....

What an experience for a lad of 20, Callum Osmand is a player I have high hopes for in time. Born in Jersey, he played at youth level for Wales but the rules have changed and he can only be capped at full international for England.

Is this the best Glasgow derby goal of them all?

Absolute scenes behind that goal. Few things in life release that pent up emotion & passion like a last gasp winner...

Moussa Dembele and the double nutmeg, more remarkable that he did it with a back heel.

Morning all, back from a nice break in sunny Ireland. Sad to see Daizen Maeda move on but he's been great for Celtic and deserves a chance to test himself in a tougher league. We wish him well. Aarigatou gozaimasu Daizen.

The 2007-08 Champions League paired Celtic and Barcelona again. In an end to end to end match with goals, excitement and drama, the hoops fell just short of holding that excellent Catalan side...

Morning all, one of the more bizarre incidents of Tony Cascarino's Celtic career came against Hearts in 1991. He came on as a sub, scored (just) his first goal for Celtic after 10 games, punched Craig Levein at a corner, giving away a penalty and was sent off- all in 5 minutes.

Mike Adams I'd rather have VAR than put up with this nonsense...

Some suggest the Scotland side which travelled to the 1974 world cup was their best ever. They were the only undefeated side in the tournament and came within an ace of beating holders Brazil. Billy Bremner came closest for the Scots in an exciting game...

Are we officially adopting this song or just saving it for the wind up at Ibrox? :-)

Morning all, one of my favourite European goals for Celtic came in the 2003-04 Champions league match with Lyon. Chris Sutton took a quick throw to Henrik Larsson and hared into the box. Larsson held the ball up until the big guy arrives before swinging in the cross. #Boom

Possibly the best angle I've seen of Daizen Maeda's stunning goal against Rangers. Good scrapping by Maeda and McGregor to win the ball back at the start of the move.

Dundee United were again to find out that Celtic would fight to the very last moments in 1988. In Celtic's centenary year, they completed a memorable league and cup double...

Was Archie Gemmill's goal for Scotland against Holland in the 1978 World Cup the best ever by a Scotland player?

In the days before VAR, incidents like this slipped through the net. It's crazy that folk 100 yards away in the Celtic end were shouting 'penalty' and five officials missed it. That's why we need VAR.

In April 2008, Celtic found themselves 6 points behind Rangers with the Ibrox club having 2 games in hand. There were still 2 derby games to play and Celtic won both amid a run of 7 straight wins which saw them snatch the title on the last day at Tannadice.

Morning all, 50 days since this and not a day has gone past without it being on my TL somewhere :-)

Morning all, Celtic fan John Savage answered questions on Celtic's history on mastermind some years back. Give it a goo and see how many you get right...

Gary Hooper popping up with a last gasp winner against St Mirren. I recall the stress of that game & wondering if the goal was ever going to come.

Celtic Park tuning up for a derby game in 2022. Those games are rarely played at night and I thought that one had a European tie feel about it. Celtic won 3-0.

Favourite football song from non Celtic fans? Has to be the Hibs fans singing 'Sunshine of Leith.' What do we think?

Paddy Power poking fun at the Glasgow footballing rivalry. I'm sure there are plenty of folk out there sharing their lives quite happily with someone from the other side? :-)
