Thank you! It takes me like an hour or less to do that rough animation of Frieren. Using the wire sculpture mask as a reference, it is easy, accurate and faster to animate!

You ask really great questions!! I am editing videos answering them with this traditional animation as the example!

Because when i use it, it is unnecesary confusing to me. Flipping between frames are useful, I can see the motion in real time, it is like a little play button. I recommend the onion skin barely visible, to have clear clues.

The original video I flip slowly each frame, then I edit the speed of the video.

Not rotoscope, I study the video of an actor doing the action. -Study the poses, defining the character proportions drawing tubnails -Draw and fix the poses for the animation based on the tubnails drawings, not the video recorded -Create the inbetween frames and do the rest

You can do professional animation with a low budget! I use recicled paper, 8$ USD for 500 sheets, and my animation pegbar, 1$ USD, the puncher is cheap too. This are the materials i use to do traditional animation.
