MLB haven’t had any investment or funding into the ABL since 2016 or so. They also stopped funding the MLB Australian Academy around that time which was a 4-8 week development camp for 15-18 year olds. So just factually incorrect to say MLB invest into Australian baseball.

Just like everything new, I’m sure there will be growing pains… But this is some pretty tough commentary from the WPBL. And I’m not cherry picking, it’s been tough to listen to all four games so far Thought I was being gaslit by the commentators on this play #WPBL

Well that’s a new one. Unable to wrap his arm because of his own teammate being next to him. That’s how you can get away with a shoulder charge these days. #Origin

Ban the six again. This is a dominant tackle. They drove him back. Put him on his back. And the ball carrier holds down the defender and whistle blown… six again. Throw it all away. What a joke. #NRLCowboysSouths

I know the Broncos got away with a forward pass try earlier in the game, lol but for Greg Alexander to say this ball wasn’t forward is laughable. This guy gets paid to talk about footy 😂 #NRLBroncosRoosters

Absolutely nobody asked for this, but this is a fun little breakdown of what went through my head as I faced Shohei Ohtani in the WBC My main thought was “If he hits a home run, he’s supposed to. He’s the best… but if you get him out, that’s a fun memory to have forever” 😊

Watched four games of rugby league tonight and enjoyed all of it… then I turned on the Wallabies game and this is what is going on. It’s like throwing darts at a board and hoping one hits. Running the same play for nearly a whole minute 😂 #LionsTour2025 #Wallabies

Let your eyes tell you what think he makes contact with first. Mitigating circumstances as he was falling. Looks like shoulder to shoulder. Head to head. Then shoulder makes contact with the head. Is it careless, yes. Is it a sin-bin, yes. Not a send-off

Internet umpires. Need help I’m confused here I thought the intentional dropped catch means, the player “caught” is out, and the runner doesn’t advance? But here the runner ends up on 2nd? And the batter is out.
