Let me be honest about something. Most Nigerians do not actually have a problem with the grant the First Lady announced. The problem people have is with who said it. And that is the most dangerous kind of thinking. When you hate the messenger so much that you reject the message even when the message is right. That's hate And I have been watching the opposition space closely. I barely see constructive criticism anymore. Show me where the roads should go. Show me a better economic model. Show me an alternative that makes sense. What I see instead is people waking up every morning looking for something to be angry about. Anything Tinubu does is wrong. Anything his wife says is mockery. Even a direct cash grant to the poorest Nigerians somehow became a joke. And the saddest part is most of these people are not even thinking for themselves. They are just following the mob. So they hate everything connected to Tinubu. Even the things that would have helped them.
