When asked about the RNC and his father no longer standing against abortion or for marriage between one man and one woman, Eric Trump compares trying to save the lives of babies and standing for biblical marriage as “worrying about spots on the wall in the basement.” Wake up, Christians. This is who the new RNC is and what you’re supporting. NBC: “The Republican Platform no longer calls for a Federal abortion ban and no longer defines marriage between one man and one woman. Is this a sign your father is moving to the center?” Eric Trump: “My father has ALWAYS been there on those issues. That’s reflective of my father and what he believes in… and my wife Lara who runs the RNC and what she believes in. At the end of the day, this country has holes in the roof and you’ve got to fix those holes and stop worrying about the spot on the wall in the basement.”

This is a great example of why the SBC can’t separate the office of pastor/elder from its function. The head of Lifeway, Ben Mandrell, explains how he thinks the SBC can “respect our doctrinal boundaries” about roles of men and women in the church while “getting creative.” This is done by churches “getting away from nomenclature” and forming councils that “get in a room and dream up what the future of the church is.” In other words, check the title of pastor/elder at the conference room door and get the “right people in the room” to do the function of pastors/elders. This is why they didn’t want the Law amendment and why it is needed. Furthermore, how Mandrell talks about this is deceptive because he implies that anything less than this “creativity” is saying a woman’s voice doesn’t matter, can’t teach, and can’t be involved in the church. And it devalues God’s design and calling of women in their Titus 2 role. Mandrell should rejoice in what God has designed and called his daughter to do, not find ways to help her give lip service to “doctrinal boundaries” while “creatively” circumventing them. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for such “creativity” (Mark 7:9-13). And we should rebuke Mandrell for his!

Here’s the context of the clip of Rachael Gilson who is speaking at SBC annual meeting for pastors’ wives. The context is even worse. She views a homosexual “marriage” as legitimate and any dissolving of that relationship has to meet biblical standards for divorce. HT:The Dissenter

Messenger: “In 2024, messengers requested NAMB to conduct an annual survey on status of church plants assisted using CP funds 10 years out from their launch. NAMB didn’t mention this in its ministry report. Why?” Ezell: We appreciate recommendations but they’re not mandates.

Webbon’s explanation of why Ruth and Boaz’ “interracial” marriage was ok. 1) Ruth rejected her gods and embraced God of Israel 2) They were only centuries removed from Noah 3) They lived geographically close 4) God didn’t see fit for one of her descendants to sit on the throne until the 4th generation when David was 87.5% Hebrew - a “true Israelite.”

At Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, students are being taught to love their neighbors in a time of "Climate Crisis" by purchasing carbon credits from a "Christian" organization. This is part of being a "new creation," Jonathan Moo says. "If we are living lives of personal virtue... driving less, walking more... when we do fly... at least let us acknowledge the cost by paying for it with carbon credits..." Your CP dollars at work.

As I prepare to attend John MacArthur’s memorial service, this “final comment” sums up his lifetime ministry. “A life of exhausting the understanding of Scripture has yielded fruit in my life and my family’s and church and far beyond. I’m only as useful as I am tuned to the truth that comes from heaven.”

I asked Kevin Ezell if he would go on record to remove any Send Network trainers who support BLM in any way. This Friday, Dhati Lewis will train SEND network pastors in discipleship. When Dhati was VP of SEND, he said BLM riots were “the voice of the unheard” and “we need to be just as concerned about the reason people are rioting… it’s a response of people who feel like they haven’t been heard.” Some questions for NAMB: 1) Would NAMB say the same thing about the protestors who came into SEND network Cities Church? Should they also seek to understand the voices of the rioters? Why not? 2) Does understanding why people riot only matter when they disrupt Target or throw bricks at cops (Second video) but not when they disrupt our churches? 3) As you now call upon law enforcement for help, what if they simply used the words of your former VP and current trainer to say, “you should try to understand WHY these protestors disrupted the service of Cities Church”? 4) Dhati was teaching this stuff when he was VP of SEND. Has your position on rioters changed? If so, why is SEND still partnering with Dhati? Ideas have consequences! With leaders like Dhati Lewis and James Roberson, SEND has been sympathetic with and advocated for BLM rioters for years. But now the rioters have come home to roost. And having one of them train your pastors in discipleship only 5 days later, makes your outrage look hypocritical at best. Will you now publicly repent, denounce these positions, and stop platforming these men once and for all? You owe SBC churches, particularly Cities Church, a public answer.

Here’s one of the grossest and most blasphemous teachings of Paul White where she perverts communion. In the clips she: 1-Says the Holy Spirit told her to take communion to be healed 2-Takes communion several times a day and invites others to join her 3-Promises healing and claims it’s as if Jesus is crucified and buried again when you take communion 4-Sales sterling silver communion set for $100

Last summer I had the privilege of interviewing John MacArthur about his lifetime of expository preaching. I think this was his last lengthy interview. In the video below are John's final words from that interview about his lifetime commitment to the authority of Scripture. I look forward to sharing the full video soon where John addresses some of these things: His definition of expository preaching Why he preaches consecutively through books What his sermon preparation looks like Adjustments he's made in preaching through the years The two expository preachers who influenced him most Advice to preachers wanting to improve their preaching The book he wishes he could preach one more time
