Policing is often not fantastic as showcasing the skills and training officers obtain and receive. Coming from the motorsports world I am interested in police drivers. Officers are classed via a training/qualifications framework that loosely ranges from basic up to advanced.

Yesterday I went out with Brent MPS | North West BCU Emergency Response officers on a ride a long. The scheme is open to everyone and is the most powerful learning experience. I always leave overwhelmed by what I have seen and learnt. It is almost impossible to put into words those 8+ hours.

#ResponsePolicingWeek 🚓 ERPT’s are under unimaginable pressure at the moment. I’ve seen first hand the lack of resources, I’ve seen first hand how exhausted the officers are, these teams need help. It pains me that all I can do is offer my thanks/support 💙

Yesterday I spent a shift with Emergency Response officers from Central West BCU (North). The experience was a powerful and poignant one from the moment I arrived. The ‘early turn’ officers were sprinting out the door to attend a report of persons who had been seriously injured.

Visiting City of London Police new ‘Public and Personal Safety Training’ centre today. It’s a bespoke facility that simulates the often ‘chaotic’ and ‘challenging’ spaces police officers operate within. PPST teaches officers to operate within these environments safely and tactically 👏🏼
