I made a nice little customization to the Rigify rig. Rigify has a setting to switch between "toe-tip roll" and "toe on the ground" ... but it's a property. To bring it to the viewport I set a driver to switch between the two states by scaling of the heel control. Then I created some shapekeys for the shape of the control to make it reflect the state of the foot. Also, there is a dot on the shape which is controlled by another shapekey. The dot is big only when the toe is fully down or fully up, otherwise it's tiny. #b3d #rigify #rigtip

Finally getting somewhere with muscle sim in Blender. Still early r&d but I feel like I got some skin sliding going and (most importantly) it doesn't explode in my face anymore 😅 No addons for now, I want to figure things out myself. The key so far is using Surface Deform and Shrink-wrap. #b3d #rigging
