Meet 16-year-old Ajoke who has no recollection of previous schooling anywhere. She is a student at the Bridge Learning Centre by The Destiny Trust. She comes even on Saturdays to study on her own. BLC is targeted at older kids who dropped out of school or have never attended school. We prepare them for common entrance. They cover primary school curriculum within 3 years. She is looking like she can cover it in a year. Once they pass common entrance and enter mainstream school, we continue to do remedial classes for them in the evening and those who show capacity can do Junior WAEC from JSS2.
