Another sequence of plotter drawings that I made recently. I really adore the texture and imperfection in these.

There’s a railroad in Marfa that runs through town, so naturally, my plots had to have one too. #plottertwitter

I’ve just spent a few days prototyping with this new 7x4 7 segment display. It uses magnets to rapidly switch the numerals nearly instantly with a very satisfying click. So fast, you can run it at 60 frames per second. I decided to first build a sound visualizer, an old trick that ive used over the years to feel out new approaches to software/hardware. Music is Hi Hello from Fourtet.

I'm excited to announce my project is an interactive art installation, "The Algorithmic Art Studio." It seeks to demonstrate the link between aesthetics, curation, generative art, and plotters. The installation will be at SIGGRAPH 2023 in LA from August 6th-10th. Details ⤵

I'm pleased to announce that BUSY is the next Art Blocks Curated exhibition. Two years after my first time working with AB on ORI, I am back with a project that pushes the boundaries of generative art on the blockchain, and on paper.

The most satisfying part of this artwork is after 10 hours of drawing, the plotter does one final, single line to finish it off. This single stroke shows the path of the forces which cause all of the chaos within the system.

Introducing BUSY in Marfa. A new generative artwork that samples the unique experience of being in Marfa, TX and combines it with a dynamic generative algorithm. I'll be at the Art Blocks gallery creating these in person next week, come say hey!
