Millard South just won a Nebraska State Championship 49-0 last week. They’re less than an hour away from Lincoln. They had 17 kids sign to play college football. Zero signed with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

This view of what I consider John Mateer’s best throw as a Sooner is absolutely killer. 42 yards. No hesitation. On. The. Money.

This doesn’t look like someone that is “quiet quitting”, in my personal opinion. Fasusi going through warmups against Fodje. Oklahoma could use him today.

One of the sneaky great things of Oklahoma’s momentum-seizing fourth quarter was that it allowed the players to run towards their own fans. Each kickoff was just a party with Sooner Nation.

I know the #Sooners will likely take a portal QB for 2027. I wish they wouldn’t. I know that’s unpopular, and I don’t expect leadership or fans to agree, but I’m ready to start some continuity in the offensive backfield. Full video ⬇️

I feel bad for Whitt Newbauer. Everyone just assumes he sucks and that’s why he hasn’t gotten a series while John struggles. Oklahoma either CAN’T or WON’T make a change. (I’m heavily leaning WON’T)

The most glaring difference between the offense and defense right now is confidence and trust. Listen to the tone and delivery of this compilation. What do you notice?

Brandon Drumm asked me a good question on this week’s OUInsider Live. Would you take Mateer’s level of play (resulting in 17-24ppg) or make a change to risk this year, but likely improve the 2027 offense. It led to a rant about consequences. Watch full video for BD’s reply ⬇️
