Shane Smith with 19 pitches in a 3-up/3-down first inning. Most noticeable is velocity routinely touching 97. Smith throws a 4-seamer and sinker plus a curve, changeup and slider. I didn’t see any curves, but there were a few changeups and sliders mixed in, and several were effective as the inning wore on. No surprise, there’s no one throwing yet in the Dash pen, but there’s some stirring. BTW, it was 99 at game time. FutureSox
