I’m always willing to give new ways to execute an exercise a try. You never know what may or may not connect. After seeing this use of the traditional pec deck, I figured why not? Even though I think my fly execution is pretty solid, there is a little bit of doubt if arms are straight enough and not “tree hugging” This eliminates any doubt on that front. There is no possible way to bend your arms using the pec deck and I will be doing them like this for the foreseeable future. Always be willing to listen and try new things. Never know what you could be missing out on

This is the extent of lower receipts these days. Barely able to execute a heel elevated body weight squat Dealing with a significant amount of pain while doing this. Back to isometric holds to strengthen the tendons and eventually back to usual loading/training. Incredibly frustrating setback to my off season and future plans to compete in the fall. There is still time, just have to let this process play out but man, this shit has got me down bad

Looking for some feedback on this one. I hesitate to do leg press in my rotation because of my perceived lack of ROM. I’d call this a feeder set in the video in terms of loading. Feet can’t go any lower on the foot pad and if I go any lower, lower back comes off the pad. You guys consider this good ROM or just leave it out?

So it’s been about a month of running the incline DB. First video on the left is more traditional press with the 110s. 5 reps. Didn’t like the arm path and wanted to make sure the focus is on upper chest Messed around with a couple other grips and settled on neutral. Felt this gave me the best arm path and stimulus. Initially started with the 90s. Right video is this morning with the 110s and hit 9 reps. Next session I’ll move to 115s to bring me back to the bottom of my rep range (5-10h) and build from there 🫡

Receipts from lower today. Been hammering away on adductor first and after about 4 weeks finally got the plus 1. Don’t be so quick to think fatigue has set in Longer you’ve been at it, the adaptations are slower to come by Adductor x2 Leg curl x2 RDL x2 Leg extension x2 Calf press x 2 Biceps x3
