This kind of driving can get someone killed. Some folks think it’s no big deal to fly up the shoulder and pass a semi. But that move is reckless, illegal, and flat-out dangerous. Most people don’t realize this, in crashes involving semis, it’s usually not the truck driver who caused it. Studies show cars are at fault 80 to 85 percent of the time. Semis are BIG. It’s been a challenging day, especially here along I-70 near exit 252 in Salina. If you can, stay home and avoid unnecessary travel. Roads are slick, and safety is our top priority—for you and for those responding to emergencies. If I weren’t out here, I’d be staying warm and enjoying a bowl of chili. 🥣 What about you? #KSwx
