I’d like to plead with all motorists and pedestrians not to try cross flooded roads and bridges. This morning our Tshwane Emergency Services rescued a female driver trapped on a flooded road in her vehicle in Centurion. I want to thank our EMS teams for a successful rescue.

[WATCH] Several pylons collapsed last night causing serious damage and power outages affecting large parts of Pretoria East including Mamelodi.

[WATCH] Regarding criminal attacks on waste removal trucks we have a major lead on the matter. We are also exploring the possibility of a civil claim against Samwu for damages suffered by the city during this illegal &amp; violent strike. City of Tshwane

Water update: We understand the frustrations of our residents, we’ve deployed several water tankers to affected communities. We will continue to engage with Rand Water to fast track water restoration. Cilliers Brink City of Tshwane

[WATCH] The illegal strike is slowing down but the one problem is waste collection and this was caused by the violent attacks on our waste trucks. We are now working double time to catch-up. City of Tshwane
