New footage shows the moment the bus came off the mini roundabout in Hayes, clipping a man crossing the road before going into the building. Somehow, the man got up and walked away. The bus carried on across the pavement and didn’t stop until it hit the wall outside the station. One account from the scene says the driver’s brakes failed and he steered trying to avoid people in the road. That’s still unverified, and there’s no official word yet on the cause or on any injuries. How that man walked off is beyond us. Wishing him and the driver well 🙏 📍 Hayes town centre 🎥 Sent in by a follower #ub1ub2 #london #hayes #hillingdon

When someone was in distress on a bridge over the M40 today, a lorry driver stopped his truck right underneath and raised the back of it up towards them. The motorway was closed in both directions between junction 2 at Beaconsfield and the M25 while Thames Valley Police and emergency services worked at the scene. Police have confirmed everyone is safe. We don't know who the driver is. But a lot of people drove past that bridge today, and he's the one who stopped and put his lorry there. If you know him, tag him, he deserves to know how many people saw this ❤️ If you're struggling, you don't have to wait until it feels like a crisis. Samaritans are there 24 hours a day on 116 123, free from any phone. 📍 M40, Buckinghamshire 🎥 Submitted by @charan2093 #ub1ub2 #m40 #beaconsfield #buckinghamshire

Three acts. One Buzzball. Zero success. CCTV from an off-licence in Hanworth catches the full routine: first she calls boss man over to help her with something, then, right on cue, her mates start forcing the shop door and pull him into the chaos, and while he’s occupied she doubles back to the fridge and tucks a Buzzball up her sleeve. 🎥 Submitted by @1chriszilla #ub1ub2 #london #hounslow #hanworth Have you got your UB1UB2 discount card yet? Dashcam footage sent in from Tottenham High Road shows a cyclist riding head-on into an oncoming bus. The rider was knocked off their bike but was seen sitting up in the road afterwards. We don’t know how badly they were hurt. If you ride on busy bus routes, keep to your lane, stay visible, and give buses as much space as you can. 📍 Tottenham High Road 🎥 Sent in anonymously #ub1ub2tv #london #tottenham #cycling

A man planted himself in front of a green Audi on The Quadrant in Richmond and simply refused to let it leave. The driver tried waiting. Tried a full three-point turn. The man just relocated. At one point a car behind reversed out of the traffic queue entirely to escape the situation. Somebody in Richmond knows the backstory 👀 comment below! 🎥 Submitted by tt: Matt Croydon. From police chase to this 😳 This was the A12 by the Green Man roundabout in Leytonstone on Sunday 11 October. Dashcam footage sent in shows a police car with blue lights flying through traffic, appearing to chase a car down the A12. Further along, the same car can be seen completely wrecked against the underpass wall, with police vehicles blocking the lanes and officers directing traffic around the scene. There's no word yet from police on what led to it or whether anyone was hurt. We'll update if they confirm details. 📍 A12, Leytonstone 🗓️ Sun 11 Oct 🎥 Submitted by @yagizkrslnx 📲 Got footage? Everyone wants to get home after a concert. The person managing the crowd deserves to get through their shift with some respect too. An exchange at Wembley Park after Diljit Dosanjh’s show, as crowds made their way into the station and this man went through the accessibility section of the staircase. A little patience goes a long way. 🎥 Safina Khan / TikTok

A follow-up that’s raising questions in Harrow… After two enforcement officers were filmed threatening a man in footage that went viral, Harrow Council said it had taken the matter seriously and that both officers no longer worked for its contractor, Kingdom. We’ve now been sent further footage that appears to show the same two officers still working in Harrow, in Kingdom uniform, with members of the public questioning why they’re still there. 📍 Harrow, North West London 🎥 Submitted by tt: pesheopesheoooo #ub1ub2 #london #harrow

Fair play to the bloke who stepped in, though it’s worth saying nobody should feel they have to. People carry things and shop staff are told not to intervene for exactly that reason. If you see it happening, filming it and reporting it does more good than putting yourself in the way. Bold effort on the charcoal though 😭 📍 Hayes 🎥 Submitted by @pakistig #ub1ub2 #london #hayes #hillingdon

Twenty-four plates of chips and a steak and kidney “pea”. Nearly 30 years on and this still hits. “Going for an English” from Goodness Gracious Me, first shown on BBC Two in 1998, flipped the classic British night out at the curry house on its head. Instead of lads competing for the hottest vindaloo, it’s Sanjeev Bhaskar, Meera Syal, Kulvinder Ghir and Nina Wadia asking for the blandest thing on the menu, ordering prawn cocktail like it’s a dare, and calling the waiter James.
