Today we're delighted to launch Audio Inpainting, an innovative feature that allows you to seamlessly edit and refine your audio tracks. With Audio Inpainting, you can select a portion of a track to re-generate based on the surrounding context. This makes it easy to edit single vocal lines, correct errors, or smooth over transitions, so you can create the perfect track. The interface is experimental, and will continue to be updated over the next few weeks. Inpainting is available for subscribers starting today (only on desktop). We're rolling out new features to help you create longer, more coherent tracks. First, extensions now use a context-window of up to two minutes, increased from 30 seconds. This means verse and chorus structures are more consistent. Check out the example below! (h/t user DrGoldenPants)

Today we’re delighted to launch more new features, starting with a model capable of two-minute generations, udio-130. This makes it much easier to create tracks with long-term coherence and structure. Check out the track below for a taste of what’s possible using a single prompt. udio-130 will launch alongside our existing model. For now, two-minute generation is an experimental feature available at a discounted credit-rate to pro-subscribers only, but we will be rolling it out more broadly over the coming weeks. 1/4

Meet Sessions — now available for both Standard and Pro subscribers. ‘Sessions’ introduces a new timeline view for track editing on Udio, so you can produce with precision and leave less to the AI roll of the dice. You can currently start a Session for either Extending or Editing your tracks, with more features coming soon. Start your first Session now by opening the dropdown menu for any song in your library and tapping Create > Start Session.

We’re launching two new features today, both designed with fun in mind 😜. First, we added a new Voice Blending tool, which allows you to blend together the vocals from more than one song to create a new custom sound. You can find it under the “Voice Control” tab on the Create page (a “Create Blend” button will appear after a first Voice has been added). Second, we’re excited to share a brand new creation experience called the Udio Playground, where you can make music from the simple building blocks of a voice + a musical style. Check out the video to see it in action. We’ve been enjoying testing these out perhaps a little too much. Hope you do as well!

There's a new way to edit tracks in town 🤠 It’s now easier than ever to regenerate a specific section of a track that you’re not happy with, and to make line-by-line lyric edits to your songs post-generation. If you ever tried out our old ‘Inpainting’ tool, this is its more intuitive, less frustrating successor. Just tap ‘Edit’ and then ‘Replace Section’ or ‘Edit Lyrics’ on any track in your library to try it out. Feature available for paid subscribers (& on desktop browsers) only.
