Nearly five hours trapped against anti-pollution barriers while Romanian authorities were on scene. That is not a malfunction. A drifting, disabled hull does not self-detonate after five hours of inactivity. That is a denial-of-exploitation system, either triggered remotely on command or activated by a pre-set protocol when the vessel lost contact or detected handling. Denial-of-exploitation requires deliberate engineering. It is not a feature of cheap kamikaze platforms, which are designed to be expended. It is a feature of recoverable ISR and EW assets whose operator cannot afford forensic examination of the payload. The imagery supports this conclusion. Open aluminum frame mast with one gimbaled camera housing, corrugated deck panels, six sensor or antenna housings on the deck, and external cabling. This appears to be an ISR or EW payload configuration; i.e., a spy drone. This hull and superstructure do not match any published variant of Magura, Sea Baby, or Sargan in open sources or any other known Ukrainian platform. From what I can ascertain, the RS-26 "Rubizh" missile contained a "MIRV" which carried multiple metallic "cones" used to simulate the weight and shape of a an individual nuclear warhead for testing purposes. This means it was definitely an act of intimidation. The below video shows the "weights" arriving in #Dnipro last night. The missile was fired from 800-km away which means it probably never entered orbital altitudes which would have set off a global DEFCON alert. They put some thought into it. #OSINT #Ukraine #Russia

Russian sources report approximately 16 FP-1/FP-2 type loitering munitions were used in the strike. The evidence tells a more nuanced and damning story. On 24 May, Russia's own Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the names of 21 dead with dates of birth ranging from 2003 to 2007. That makes the youngest victims 18 or 19 years old and the oldest, 22 or 23. This is the recruitment and training age for Rubicon personnel and not students at a vocational college. Yet Russia immediately declared these were "children aged 14 to 18." Those two claims cannot both be true, and Russia produced both of them. The narrative was constructed from the first hour. Moscow has a systematic pattern of militarizing civilian infrastructure across occupied territory. Placing military assets among civilians is a deliberate choice, not an accident. The timeline further exposes the pretext. Russia had already intensified strikes on Kyiv from 12-13 May, over 12 days before Starobilsk. The massive 23-24 May barrage of approximately 90 missiles and more than 600 drones just 24-48 hours after Starobilsk, one of the largest combined strike packages of the war, was also immediately branded retaliation. The Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies is a documented Russian Defense Ministry unit established in 2024 and involved in drone strikes on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure. This video of a failed Russian assault in #Avdiivka is probably going to be shown in war colleges in the West as a primer how to defeat the "modern" Russian army in the field. What is evident, is that Russia cannot deploy artillery to support its armor and they do not have the trained fighters needed to properly conduct a combined arms battle. On the part of the AFU, their most valuable assets are the skill and bravery of their fighters and the competency of their commanders. In addition, NATO training, superior NATO artillery with further range than their Russian counterparts and a fanatical focus on counterbattery operations made this possible. #OSINT #Counteroffensive #UkraineRussiaWar #UkraineWar #Ukraine

This is one of my favorite videos from Russia. It is claimed to be of an "advance robotic combat soldier" developed by the Russian MoD. Look at Putin's face... even he is embarrassed. But the Russian media ran with the story anyway. Any 10-year-old can see it is an ATV with a manikin on it that is being driven remotely by a human. It is nothing more than a cheap parlor trick, magic, smoke and mirrors... But it probably cost the Russian tax payers hundreds of millions of rubles over several years to "develop." This is probably the best analogy I have come across of what Russia is at its core: fake, a lie, corrupt and brainwashed. This is one of my favorite videos from Russia. It is claimed to be of an "advance robotic combat soldier" developed by the Russian MoD. Look at Putin's face... even he is embarrassed. But the Russian media ran with the story anyway. Any 10-year-old can see it is an ATV with a manikin on it that is being driven remotely by a human. It is nothing more than a cheap parlor trick, magic, smoke and mirrors... But it probably cost the Russian tax payers hundreds of millions of rubles over several years to "develop." This is probably the best analogy I have come across of what Russia is at its core: fake, a lie, corrupt and brainwashed.
