For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected. In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible. This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. In my opinion, the single biggest upgrade Samsung should make to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is to bring the Galaxy Z Flip 8's ultra-thin bezels to it. Just shrinking the bezels one more step would completely transform the Fold 8's look. It would easily become the best-looking book-style foldable in my eyes.

Thanks to its redesigned main hinge structure and improved stress distribution, the Z Fold8 appears to maintain its shallow crease for a longer period and even shows a degree of self-recovery. For example, when I unfolded the phone this morning, the crease was slightly more noticeable than it had been the night before. After leaving the device fully open for about 10 minutes, the crease gradually became less visible and returned to almost the same condition I had seen the previous evening. Of course, this is based on my observations of a single retail unit during everyday use, so it doesn't necessarily represent every device. If it continues to maintain this level of crease performance after long-term, repeated folding, then the Galaxy Z Fold8 could set a new benchmark for crease durability among foldable smartphones.

In the video, two robots from different manufacturers with significantly different hardware architectures, the Unitree G1 and AgiBot Yuanzheng A3, are reportedly running on the same “brain.” In a complex indoor environment, they work continuously for around 10 minutes in a single uncut take, performing a series of long-horizon tasks including cleaning windows, organizing objects, resuming interrupted tasks, and cooperating with each other. What makes it even more interesting is that when one robot cannot reach a high shelf, it attempts to use a box to solve the problem. The two robots also appear capable of cooperating based on each other’s physical capabilities. If the claimed level of autonomy and the use of the same model across different embodiments are eventually verified, I think there are three things that really deserve attention: 1. Cross-embodiment generalization. If the same foundation model can operate two substantially different robotic platforms, it could mean that robotic “intelligence” is gradually becoming decoupled from a specific physical body. 2. Long-horizon closed-loop execution. Continuously performing complex tasks for 10 minutes, while being able to pause, switch tasks, and later resume previous ones, is much more meaningful than completing a single 10-second demo. 3. Collaboration and dynamic planning. The two robots appear able to adjust their behavior according to environmental changes and each other’s physical capabilities. These are some of the characteristics that truly general-purpose embodied intelligence will eventually need. That said, I would remain cautious for now. The video demonstrates extremely impressive behavior, but stronger claims such as “self-evolution,” “true understanding of the physical world,” or overturning the Scaling Law with only dozens of hours of training data still require much stronger evidence. Failure recovery and replanning during a task also do not automatically demonstrate that the model is learning by itself. So I wouldn’t call this the “ChatGPT moment” of embodied AI yet. But if the team later discloses the model architecture, training data scale, level of human intervention, and can repeatedly reproduce these capabilities in completely unfamiliar environments, this seemingly rough 10-minute video could become one of the most memorable embodied AI demos of 2026. First, the conclusion: the so called Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra leak from last night turned out to be a false alarm. After watching the original video over and over again, I'm convinced it isn't a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. It's actually the blue version of the Galaxy Z Fold7. Because of the lighting and color temperature, the blue frame appeared black on camera, which led to the confusion. Here are the three biggest clues: 1. The inner display camera cutout is too large. Compared with the official Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra renders, the inner camera hole on the Fold8 Ultra is noticeably smaller. The one in the leaked video is still the larger Fold7-style cutout. 2. The rear camera housing doesn't match. The cylindrical camera housing reflects light with a bright metallic sheen, which is much more consistent with the blue Galaxy Z Fold7 than the black Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Some of the hardware details also don't line up. 3. The inner display is still highly reflective. The device in the video shows obvious screen reflections. However, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the first Fold to feature an anti reflective inner display film. Anyone familiar with Samsung foldables should immediately notice that the reflections don't look like this. Based on these three points, I'm confident the device in the video is a blue Galaxy Z Fold7, not the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The confusion is understandable because the two generations are incredibly similar. They share the same overall dimensions and aspect ratio, making them very easy to mix up. The good news is that the real Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will be even better. It will have an even less visible crease than the Fold7, along with the new anti reflective inner display film.
