Since 1973, #WorldEnvironmentDay has helped raise awareness and generate momentum around issues – including those which affect #Somalia, such as #desertification, global warming and more – this year's focus is on combatting #plasticpollution and breaking the world's addiction to plastics, and urging governments, companies and other stakeholders to speed actions to solve this crisis.
