I despair! 🤬 Some Twat/s just set fire to our local wetlands’ ‘dead hedge’! Thankfully the Fire Brigade put it out before it spread further.

Can you ID this bird? Filmed this morning finding its breakfast in my lawn. I've always been amazed by their plumage. Considered invasive in the States, in the UK breeding population has fallen by over 80% since the 1970s, causing them to be placed on the red list. Any fans out there?

Moments like this remind me what a privilege it is to share a garden with a family of Foxes, and why protecting wildlife and nature really does matter.

Over the last ten years, by simply rewilding and adding a few ponds, woodpiles and rockpiles, I've transformed a lifeless inner city garden into a haven for nature. Wishing you and yours all the very best and thank you for all your kind comments #Pondwatch
