#ThisWeekinUSNigeriaHistory in 2018, U.S. soldiers trained about 200 Nigerian Army troops from the 26th Infantry Battalion on responding to IEDs, ambushes, and operations planning. The exercise reflected decades of U.S.–Nigeria military cooperation focused on training and capacity building.
