Thread University of Balochistan Scandal-2019 A scandal where female students were harassed and blackmailed by installing video cameras in the private locations of campus like hostels, waiting rooms and nearby washrooms. Dozens of videos were found, a FIA committee was established to investigate but the perpetrators were never punished. In that case Dr Javid Iqbal was the vice chancellor at UoB, among them a man named Malik Tareen was the examination controller at the university at that time, he was involved in the scandal. After widespread protest these criminals were shifted into other universities safely and silently. Sources:

A Baloch Girl speaking about the closure of girls' schools in Paroom, Panjgur. As she bravely says, their parents happily allow them for their studies, but the government has shut down the schools and not providing them with facilities for their studies. The schools are closed for years due to lack of teachers and other basic facilities. The students, mostly girls of Paroom, organized a protest demanding facilitation in schools. As per, Baloch Literacy Campaign report, there are sixteen schools which are closed in Paroom. Most of them are girls schools. We appreciate this small struggle of the students and are happy to see them raising their voice for their education. We as BSAC demand the government to take action and provide the students with their very basic educational rights. Video credits Nisar Baloch
